    Our 6th episode marks the start of our remote podcasting. Adam Robert Lewis sits down  (virtually) with actress, Amanda Henderson. Henderson began her acting career in 'Everybody Loves A Winner' at Royal Exchange Manchester directed by Neil Barett. From there, Henderson hit the West End playing Charlotte in Cameron Mackintosh's revival of Oliver at Drury Lane directed by Rupert Goold. In 2013, Henderson became a household name, landing a role in BBC's Casualty. The British medical drama is the longest running emergency medical drama series in the world. Henderson plays Robyn Miller, staff nurse at Holby City Hospital and over the course of her six years on set has become a series regular and a much loved character of the television series. Henderson has also experienced life on the Silver Screen appearing in the 2012 film Les Misérables.

    In this fifth episode, Adam Robert Lewis continues his conversation with Philip Griffiths. In Part 1 we discussed Philip’s journey through his training and his early career within Opera. 

    We pick up with Philip’s first professional job outside of Opera with Barry Stacey's Pantomime, a stark contrast from his days at Glynebourne, however Philip’s tenacity and perseverance shows his ambition to spur himself into a new direction within the Arts. 

    Philip has gone on to perform in some of the West End's most iconic musicals. Evita, Chess & Phantom of the Opera. Philip joined Phantom in 1990 and is still appearing in the musical to this day. 

    It's hard to think of the show without his presence in it and he openly talks about what it takes to maintain a contract for over 33 years. We discuss his journey through musicals and Philip gives his top tips for anyone looking to pursue a career in musical theatre!

    In this fourth episode, Adam Robert Lewis sits down with Philip Griffiths. A fellow welshman who grew up in Mid-Wales. Philip spent most of his youth in and out of local eisteddfods giving him a taste for life on stage. Moving away from rural Wales, Philip trained in Opera at Manchester University. He then joined his first opera company, Glyndebourne. Philip discusses his early career in opera and the cross roads which led him to Musical theatre. Since his transition into Musical Theatre, Philip has appeared in countless musicals across his 50 year career. Philip is currently the longest serving cast member in 'Phantom of the Opera' and hold the Guinness World Record for his continuous years. This podcast is presented in 2 parts.

Jodie shot to fame during BBC’s ‘I’d Do Anything’ in search of ‘Nancy’ for the London revival of Oliver produced by Cameron Mackintosh. Jodie was chosen by the voting public making her West End dream a reality. Since ‘I’d Do Anything’ Jodie has continually reinforced that she really can do anything from musicals to plays to TV. Jodie has conquered all the mediums. Jodie is currently returning to the National Theatre in their  production of ‘A Taste of Honey’ which is running until February 27.
