Pastor Danny interviews Phyllis Weiss who's husband was the founding Pastor of our church.

1. Jesus understands the emotions surrounding holiday gatherings and family events and the expectations even the confrontations that come along with the beauty of the event. He shows us a better way to respond. 2. Jesus makes His decisions based on obedience to God not the cultural or religious expectations of the world or the moment. 3. Jesus challenges the logic of His culture which is a contradiction unto itself. (you will do the work of a circumcision on the Sabbath but want to kill me for making someone’s whole body well). Are we discerning of our own culture’s contradictions? 4. Jesus challenges the crowd to look a deeper than the surface. He calls them to judge with right judgment. What are the implications for us?
