Red and I travel back in time to the era of the Nintendo 64 to talk a little Super Mario 64. With Super Mario 3D All-Stars coming out recently on the Nintendo Switch, we thought it would be a good time to revisit the classic game.

We start with the gameplay. How did we feel about Lakitu's camera abilities? How about the cap power ups? What new additions did we enjoy?

We then dive into the worlds. Was Bob-Omb Battlefield and Whomp's Fortress good starting locations? Did the music deliver like always in the water worlds of Jolly Roger Bay and Dire, Dire, Docks? How good was the platforming in Tick Tock Clock?

Afterwards, we visit the Bowser levels. Did we like the switch back to more linear platforming? Which was our favorite between Dark World, Fire Sea, and Sky? How do we feel about the music?

We end with a discussion on the legacy of the game. Is it one of the greatest games of all time? What did it do for the future of gaming?

Red and I talk Mario Kart 8 all episode long! We start with a discussion on our favorite tracks and what we think about all the track remakes.

Red and I start with the recent big news of Halo Infinite getting delayed. This now means it won't be a launch title for the Xbox Series X. How do we feel about Microsoft's decision?

Red and I talk all episode long about Spider-Man, the 2018 action adventure game from Insomniac Games released on the PlayStation 4 (PS4).

We start with the combat. How did we feel about the Spider Sense and Focus Meter? What gadgets did we like to use? Were there any skills that stood out?

We then transition to the gameplay. How fun was it to web swing through New York City?! Are there any suits that we were particularly fond of? What Suit Powers and Suit Mods did we use? Did we like all the tasks in each district? How much did we collect and what's our opinions on the benchmarks?

Afterwards, we address the game world. What landmarks did we like seeing? Which landmarks do we wish we would have saw? How do we feel about the map screen and its effects and music?

Later, we dive into the story. How do we feel about Otto Octavius's character arc? Did we like or hate Mayor Norman Osborn? Did we enjoy the chemistry between Peter Parker and Mary Jane? Was Devil's Breath a good story concept to use for this game?

We then talk about some of our favorite characters and enemies. Did J. Jonah Jameson (JJJ) get annoying? How much did Yuri Watanabe help us? How sad was the plot around Jefferson Davis and Miles Morales? Were we happy with fighting the Sinister Six of Doctor Octopus, Mister Negative, Electro, Vulture, Rhino, and Scorpion?

We end with a short discussion on the DLC. Red didn't have a chance to play them but Hick did. Did he enjoy the episodes (The Heist, Turf Wars, Silver Lining) of The City that Never Sleeps? We also give our final thoughts on the game.

Red and I talk Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild for the entire episode!

We start with the overall game world of Hyrule and its locations, regions, and towns.

Then we hit on the gameplay. What did we think about the new climbing and paragliding mechanics? What about the weather and day/night cycles? Do we like the combat with all the various weapons? How about our opinions on the Sheikah Slate runes?

Afterwards, we discuss the story. Did Red and I like it? What about the memories?

We then tackle the Divine Beasts and shrines. How did we feel about the new type of dungeons in the Divine Beasts? What about our feelings on the shrines, which many consider to be the mini-dungeons in the game?

Later, we quickly address the characters and enemies in the game.

We end with a discussion on the side quests and shrine quests in the game before giving our final thoughts.

Red and I talk Nintendo Switch's Super Mario Odyssey the entire podcast. It's one of our favorite Super Mario games.

We dive into the gameplay and discuss some of the moves along with all of the capture abilities that Cappy can grant us. We also discuss some of the 2D retro areas that take us back to the original Super Mario Bros on the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES).

Red starts off by giving us an update on his opinions for Death Stranding. I quickly talk about Control and then we move onto our main topic, The Last of Us Part II State of Play by Sony's PlayStation.

Afterwards, we discuss confusing maps and fast travel. Can a confusing map make us quit a game? Do we use fast travel a lot while playing our games?

We then have a very interesting conversation on how the little things in video gaming seem to not mean as much these days. It's a great nostalgic trip.

We end by tackling how annoying it is when enemies gang up on you and some great games or genres for the gamer who is mentally exhausted in their lives.

Red and I begin by discussing the latest Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 reveals. They showed us some games and tech demos, but it was mostly in the form of trailers.

We then talk about our console loyalties over the years. Have they changed or have they stayed the same?

Afterwards, we address open world games and how the side quests can remove you from experiencing the main story properly.

Then we tackle games that are great for short sessions of playing (15 minutes or so) and games where you need to have longer sessions (30 mins or so) to truly experience them. 

We end with a discussion on stealth in video games and how it has evolved over the years.

We then dive into The Last of Us Part II spoilers that recently came out. Do we like spoilers? Do we watch them? How do they affect the video game industry?

Afterwards, Hick gives an update on his PC gaming adventures and how his laptop specs are starting to cause issues in regards to the resolution and frame rate.

We end with a long discussion on what genres are best for PC gaming.
