Often a monster movie comes with a level of suspension of disbelief.  At times, that level can be asking too much from an audience.  The movie SPRING, from film making duo Justin Benson and Aaron Moorehead, is not one of those movies.  The horror included doesn't ask you to check your brain at the door, nor is it too subtle or vague.  It is both quiet and visceral and accomplishes these tasks while telling a very human story.

Join Kevin and George as they take a romantic break and watch what is, essentially, a romantic comedy....with monsters.

What is one of the worst things a movie can do?  Is it when it's just bad?  Is it when it's good but could be better?  Perhaps both.  However, as I write this, I find myself thinking that Robert Rodriguez's ALITA:  BATTLE ANGEL managed to top both of those options.  It's a movie that has so many good qualities that should make it great, but just barely falls short of legendary status.

Every once in a while you come across a movie that was birthed of a fantastic idea.  No one really nurtured it by giving it a huge budget or a ton of publicity, but it didn't really matter.  Perhaps the lack thereof is actually what propelled the filmmakers to stay true to their vision.  

THE ENDLESS is such a movie.  Come and check out what is sure to be a TERRIBLE podcast, based on the fact that both Kevin and George loved this movie.
