Rock the Manger! Our Special Christmas Eve service!

On December 17th, 2023, C2 Worship featured a lineup of great songs including "Because of Your Love," "Live Like You're Loved," "Oh Holy Night," and a post-sermon anthem "Light of the World." The Etienne Family participated in the Lighting of the Advent Candle. Drew also read the Scripture. The sermon was delivered by Rev. Dr. Anna V. Copeland, followed by the Prayers for the People. The service concluded with the song "Angels We Have Heard on High" and a benediction from Drew.

On November 26, 2023, the C2 Worship service was led by Drew, who warmly welcomed everyone. The service opened with two songs, "Because of Your Love" and "Live Like You're Loved." Drew then led the opening prayer. This was followed by the third song, "I am Yours," and the Passing of the Peace. Drew continued by sharing the Community Life segment. The scripture reading was given by Todd, reading John 15: 1-11. Rev. Craig Hoffman delivered the sermon, followed by the post-sermon anthem, "Look What You’ve Done." Prayers for the people were led by Drew. The service concluded with the song "Again I Say Rejoice" to sing everyone out, and Drew offered the benediction.

On November 19, 2023, C2 Worship includeed some great musical selections. The service begins with a welcome from Drew, followed by three songs: "God is in the House," "Number 40," and "Names." Drew was also led the Passing of the Peace and Community Life. The Scripture reading, Colossians 3:12-17, was done by Kelsey. Rev. Dr. Anna V. Copeland delivered the sermon. This was followed by the post-sermon anthem "Way Maker" and "Prayers for the People," led by Drew. Worship concluded with the song "Because of Your Love" and a benediction by Drew.

On November 5th, 2023, the C2 Worship service was led by Drew, who opened the gathering with a welcoming greeting. The first song to uplift the congregation was "Light the Fire," followed by a heartfelt prayer from Drew. The Carla led us in singing "Come Alive (Dry Bones)" and "Holy Spirit," fostering a deeply spiritual atmosphere. Drew led the passing of peace among the attendees, encouraging a sense of community and togetherness. This sense of fellowship continued as Drew spoke on community life and read scripture, with a poignant moment dedicated to remembering those who had passed, where names were solemnly read by both Drew and Rev. Bev Zell. The sermon was delivered by Rev. Dr. Anna V. Copeland. Communion was given by Rev. Bev Zell, accompanied by the communion song "The Table," and followed by a prayer of thanksgiving. The service was brought to a close with the congregation singing "When the Saints Go Marching In" and Drew gave the benediction.

On October 29, 2023, C2 Worship began with Drew welcoming everyone. The congregation then sang the first song, "King of Glory," followed by "Let it Rain." Drew led the prayer before moving on to the third song, "Hold on To Me." Drew encouraged us to share of the Passing of the Peace and led Community Life segments. The Scripture reading for the day, 2 Corinthians 5:1, 16-20, was also done by Drew. Rev. Dr. Anna V. Copeland delivered the sermon. After the sermon, the anthem "When I Think About the Lord" was sung, leading into Tony offering Prayers for the People. The congregation wrapped up the service by singing "I'm So Blessed," and Drew gave the benediction.

This morning at C2 Worship, Drew kicked things off with a warm welcome before leading us into the first song, "God is in the House." A second song, "A City on a Hill," followed. Drew then led us in prayer and transitioned into "A Mighty Fortress" before encouraging everyone to pass the peace. Drew also covered community life updates and the scripture. Rev. Dr. Anna V. Copeland then delivered an engaging sermon. After the sermon, we listened to the anthem "Goodness of God," which was followed by prayers for the people. The service wrapped up with the uplifting song "Again I Say Rejoice" and Drew offered the benediction.

On October 15, 2023, Drew welcomed the congregation and then band led us in the first three songs: "Because Of Your Love," "New Every Morning," and "God is Good." Drew led the passing the peace and updating the congregation on the community on church life. The scripture reading from Ephesians 3:14-21 was read by Drew. Rev. David W. Johnson delivered his final sermon at Community Church. Following the sermon, the anthem "Good and Loved" was performed. Drew then led the prayers for the people. The service concluded with the song "All You Need Is Love," and Revs. David and Elizabeth Johnson joining us to gave the benediction. This is their last Sunday with Community Church and their presence will be missed by the community.
