According to Jesus and according to Paul the unity of the believers makes the good news of Jesus credible. Diversity and differences with all their challenges are the areas that enhance the beauty of God’s intentions for the church and not the causes for division. Is Jesus having more or us rather than us wanting to have more of Jesus? How full of its power to transform, is the cross of Jesus for you as individual and community? Remember in whose name you’ve been baptised! 

The book of Numbers records the sorry history of God’s people looking to themselves rather than trust that God would bless them though all the challenges of their walk through the wilderness. But God remained faithful. Can we see that God is trustworthy and utterly faithful, give our all to know him and live out a life of blessing for others?

When travelling through the desert to the Promised Land, the people of God murmured and grumbled about their hardships, the food they were given, the leaders they had and the places that they were allocated in their society. This unhappiness was in reality complaining about God Himself, questioning His wisdom and love for them. The tendency to complain is still a temptation for Christians of today and will be countered by the grace of God in Christ as we remember what He has done for us and as we develop attitudes of overflowing thankfulness and contentment in God and in His ways.

Live as those who are called to be conformed to the image of Christ. Let love be genuine. Don't be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

There are different ways that you can get the title “lord” in this country, this is not what Paul means when he writes to the Roman believers about “Our Lord Jesus Christ”.  it's not just a matter of respect of reverence…the title signifies Jesus’ absolute authority and power is the basis on which people may know him.  It has do with resurrection and his return. Is Jesus Lord of your achievements, possessions, worship, service and living?

Although the book of Leviticus is difficult to read and hard going, the sacrificial system points us to the ultimate sacrifice of our Lord Jesus Christ. Some of principles drawn from the five sacrificial offerings of Leviticus 1-7 prompt to consider how serious we must take the indwelling and worship of our creator, loving and holy God. Read Leviticus. Grow in your understanding of how holy God is. Live a life that takes sin seriously and is marked by worship that is costly, giving the very best, full of thanksgiving, where everything we are and have belongs to God and with commitment to justice and righteousness.

As a community of Christians this means we can all come to Jesus knowing that he sees us all as equal to each other.

God's Word has declared His wonderful promises to us. Promises that we may live in perfect love, joy and peace, and many other things, always. His grace has provided these things for us in the person of Jesus, so that we can live in them always! By faith we receive them. Choose to bring your experience up so that it matches what the Word of God has declared! Believe God can do this, for according to your faith let it be done to you.
