After several months without a podcast, due to some shenanigans, we have returned to talk about the news that happened when we were away.

Steven and Aaron talk about their Dungeons and Dragons game that they have been playing. Aaron talks about some rogue likes, Steven talks about the game that may or may not be Frog Fractions 2.

After that Steven spent a large amount of time talking up Project: Blue, the game that the Caps N’ Coins staff has been working on, and his own game Pixel Kitchen, as well as the Gamemaker courses offered by Heartbeast.

Dave has played a lot of Jet Set Radio, the group doesn’t understand Death Stranding. Steve played Hitman and has worked on developing not 1 but 2 video games. Aaron tries out Dark Souls 2 Scholars of the First Sin and has some issues.

It has been an odd couple of weeks, and it looks like the Caps N’ Coins cast may turn into a podcast that is once every three weeks as the schedules of the hosts has been getting tighter as they shift their focus to game development.

Dave has played a lot of Dead State and wants to air his grievances with this kickstarter title. Steven talks about his experience playing Pillars of Eternity. Somehow Pillars of Eternity started an extended conversation about 38 Studios and Project Copernicus. Aaron had played a little bit of Hyper Light Drifter and then spent a lot of time making art assets for our own mobile game.

Dave and Steve continue to play Pokemon Go, Aaron thinks about going back to WoW then immediately regrets it. Steve has to restart Hyper Light Drifter after reformatting his computer and talks about Youtube and The Sims 4.

Steve goes on Vacation to Peele Island and visits a winery leading to a lengthy discussion about Wine. After that the group shifts gears and talks about their current experiences with Pokemon GO. Steve talks about his linux partition getting corrupted and having to reformat his linux partition losing his Hyper Light Drifter save game because it didn’t support steam cloud.

Dave relapses and slips back into World of Warcraft after good clean living for half a decade and now must deal with random people kicking him from groups with no explanation given.

Steve tries out #YMBAB and talks about how he would much rather be playing it on his phone than on his computer. Steve spends a lot more money than he should have on the Origin sale, not the steam sale. They finally move onto Hyper Light Drifter and Steve gushes about it for a while.

Aaron seems to only have played the Witcher 3, and finally agrees with Steven that it is one of the best games ever made.

Aaron Breaks his 3DS playing Monster Hunter and talks to Dave about swapping body parts in Neo Scavenger. Dave plays more FF4 on his phone and some Undertale. Steve checks out Saints Row 4.

The team touches base and gives a status update on how their own video game development is going.

Aaron rekindles his love of Binding of Isaac and tries to get through the Steam port of Final Fantasy 9. Dave continues to hunt for achievements in Stardew Valley and gets frustrated with the Android port of Final Fantasy 4.  Aaron hits on his mother in Undertale and then discuss some trailers about war and Civilization.
