    In this episode, we are onsite in the wild and windy Painted Desert of Northern Arizona digging for Fossil trees that are covered in Crystals!!! We are with Aamon Yeager of Northwest Montana Fossils who is hosting the excavation and the coordination of getting this history out of the ground! We have a great conversation with Aamon about the history of the Chinle Formation, the Triassic era, and the life that existed in northern Arizona over 220 million years ago. The Smoky Mountain Relic Room crew as well as crews from a few different museums are taking part in the excavation. This is a GREAT Conversation with Aamon about the Triassic Chinle, and we hope you guys enjoy!
