    The Chicago Coaching Center is a progressive collection of instructional coaches interested in targeting specific coaching skills, dispositions, and attributes in the world of coaching. ​​ We design learning experiences that grow coaching skills to their highest possible capacity. Our summer workshops are targeted to future coaches and to coaches with experience and they provide collaborative learning environments for all who attend. In each episode we will speak with leaders in instructional coaching from around the Chicagoland area, and experts from all over the world.

    Dr. Hank Thiele is the Superintendent of Community High School District 99 (Downers Grove, IL). He has been an educational technology leader for decades, and as Assistant Superintendent, led Maine Township to be among the first to adopt Google Apps for Education. As Superintendent of District 99, he has inherited a strong tradition of coaching, and has been providing leadership and support to one of the top districts in the state. Adam & Ken relive old times, and find out what Hank's been up to!

Jenny Gustavson, Mecca Sadler, and Juliana Cucci describe their work in building a 21st century literacy support program.     Kim Jablonski is the new Career & Technical Education Chair at Downers Grove North High School. She had previously served in the same role at Maine Township, after having been a lead teacher and instructional coach. Kim talks to Adam and Ken about the ins and outs of having coaching conversations with teachers as an administrator, the need for administrative coaching, and the many roles that she has to fill simultaneously!
