I can't tell you how happy I was to reconnect with Greg. The last time I really saw him was 2004! His career was ended tragically short by a collision while on his police motorcycle. He shares that story, but many more about being a street cop, a SWAT operator and a motor cop. Now, he's semi-retired and flies planes as a hobby.

I'm honored, and it's my pleasure, to introduce Greg to you as well. I know you will tune in and give him the warmest welcome to this awesome family...

Tom was introduced to me by Gator, so it was good to meet him. He began his career as a paramedic/ EMT but was seduced by the call to be a cop! He was hired by the Village of Park Forrest, outside of Chicago, and spent a few years there (SWAT, Undercover) but the agency was small and the opportunities even smaller. He knew a fellow cop who had moved out West and he did the same. Ultimately hired by the Sheriff's Department his career began in the Wild West. Tune in, give him a warm welcome and let's get this show started!

Larry started his public service by enlisting in the Army, he travelled the world, but ultimately decided to return to Tucson where he did a stint with the Department of Corrections before becoming a Pima County Deputy. He was a highly motivated Deputy and the stories were great to hear. Please give him a warm welcome and enjoy the show!

Andy and I met at the gym, introduced to one another by Chris Galios (Episode 13). He's a grumpy ol bastard but I enjoy his company and I enjoyed this episode even more. Listen in as he discusses starting out in radio, moving on to Transit police and then getting absorbed into the NYPD. Shenanigans ensued, his career was very cool to hear about and I'm glad we had the opportunity to create his legacy for his family...enjoy the show, be safe out there!

Gary and I met at the gym, like many of my previous guests. His introduction into law enforcement was unique, I really enjoyed hearing about his career prior to being a cop! Once he was hooked though, the shenanigans ensued! He started in San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department but eventually moved to Oro Valley, AZ.

Now here is a character that many in this neck of the woods know! He is a larger than life character whose impact on Law Enforcement in Southern Arizona is undeniable. I'm so glad he agreed to come on the show and create his very own legacy, I'm even happier he will be back in a couple weeks to wrap up his career but also talk about all he is doing now and how he continues to serve long after he is retired! You don't want to miss out, tune it and let's get this episode officially in the books!!!! Ladies and gents, Gator!

This week Buck Savage joins The Squad, spending some quality time to share his career!  The son of a physician, growing up in Flagstaff, Dave attended the Naval Academy before suffering an injury and transferring to the University of Arizona. He joined the Tucson Police Dept, but "lateraled" to the AZ Department of Public Safety where his career as a trainer of cops took off and "Buck Savage" was born. Jeff is back, we start the episode laughing so hard I almost had an asthma attack! Like all my guests, I'm honored he was willing to come back and hang out again. He was rear ended  by a suspected drunk driver after leaving, good thing he was in a huge Dually pick up! He ok, no injuries and a little soreness!

Retired Antioch Police Officer, Eric Johnsen, is back in the studio and we hung out for a few hours sharing some more stories. Since he was here last February, we had been chatting and he said what almost all my guests say, "Once I left I started remembering a lot more stories that I forgot to share!

He showed up with a page full of notes and we had a great time! He's such a good guy, if you didn't catch his episode go back and take listen...episode 63! Be safe out there and thanks for tuning in!

Jeff and I met while working at the Pima County Sheriff's Department. He continued on to become a Captain, honorably serving the citizens of Pima County, before retiring and being hired as the Executive Director of T.R.O.T.

He started his public service as an Air Force enlisted airman, guarding nukes around the world, then he became a reserve Deputy in CA! He moved to AZ, where he had previously met his wife, and the rest is history! He'll be back in a week to wrap up telling all the cool stories from his career, but for now...It's my honor to host Jeff, please enjoy the show!

Rudy and I went to High School together, then our paths crossed every so often as he responded to scenes I was working as a cop or I would show up on calls he was working as a Fire Fighter. It was great catching up and I'm excited to introduce him to the coolest group of folks I've come to know...The Squad!

This week's guest is a gentleman I had the pleasure of working with at Tucson PD. I first mentioned him in Episode 14 with Stacey Goodman. Richie and I were in Ops South on the morning of 9/11. 

It was my honor to host him and I learned a few things I hadn't known prior to our interview, like, the fact he started out as a cop in the New York Transit Police. Or the fact that prior to this he had been a craps dealer and DJ in Las Vegas, where he met his beautiful bride!!!

Richie was instrumental in bringing a new Police Officers Association (Union) to the agency and he helped move working conditions and pay forward for the agency. Future generations of local cops owe him a debt of gratitude for his tireless work.

Mark started his career in the 80's, in a sleepy town in Iowa. A few years in, he moved his family to Tucson and his career took off from there. One of his bigger claims to fame was that he had the opportunity to work on the Southside of Tucson at every rank. He retired as the Captain (Division Commander) and was later voted in a the Pima County Sheriff for one term.

We had a great conversation, I'm honored he was willing to come and hang out for a few hours. Please give him a warm welcome to the show, The Squad, and for creating a long-lasting legacy for his friends and family.

Charles came back and we finished chatting about his career. It was a great time, an even better conversation and I enjoyed his company. His first episode is doing well, I have you all to thank for that. Thanks for giving a warm welcome from the best Squad a guy could ask for.
