Obeying God’s will wasn’t what caused Jesus to suffer, but that obedience led Him through suffering. Yet, that suffering was Jesus’ delight. It was for the joy that was set before Jesus that He endured the cross despising its shame (Heb. 12:2).

The opinions of sinful men do not change the truth of what God says. Don’t ever be ashamed of confessing what God has said in His Word (Ps. 119:46). God is with you and will strengthen you like forged metal upon which the forces of this world will break.
