The Power of God Part 2 "I"

The Power of God Part 2 "I"
We open the "Lenten Season" and it begins with Ash Wednesday. This day is a day of self-examination, and moves onward to Maundy Thursday, and finally Good Friday! "I" is so often in our conversation, it is a term that identifies what we think or want personally. It often evades our knowledge that we refer to ourselves so often. Humility rises to the surface as we face the examination of ourselves before the Lord. How much of our lives is about Him, and less of ourselves, as we bow to our covenant with the Lord!

    God Reigneth at Midnight
Paul was an energetic servant of God. As he and Silas prayed, praised and sang at midnight something glorious happened! Thirsty? Come to the Living Waters
Rev 22:17 And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely. John 7:37-38 In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.

In this season of Thanksgiving it would be great for us spiritually if we could major on "continually giving thanks!" Hebrews 13:15 "By Him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to His Name."
