    Phyllis Debertin and Karen Lueck of AAUW Green Valley Stopped by to talk with Andy Taylor on the Upcoming Fun(D) Fest Happening 02/24/2024. This Fundraising Fun event replaces the previous years Luna Fest. Both Phyllis and Karen share the Fun of this fest with Stand Up Comedy and other great fun all to raise Funds for Scholarships for Young Woman.

    This is the one annual event to raise money to fund our scholarships for students at Pima Community College. Nancy Stanley, the very successful stand-up comedian of "The Estrogen Hour" fame and two of her fellow comedians will do a one-hour presentation for us. The doors open at 1 p.m. for refreshments and raffle baskets put together by both our interest groups and local businesses, and the program begins at 2 p.m.

    The cost of a ticket is only $25.00 for an afternoon of fun and laughter.
    Tickets are available at our meetings, and at Nancy Pantz (Continental Plaza), The Book Shop (Green Valley Village), Quail Run Books (175 South La Cañada Drive), the Chamber of Commerce (275 Continental Road), and Posada Java (La Posada Campus).
