30 years ago today, a 51-day stand-off between the Branch Davidians and the FBI/ATF came to a devastating end when the Mount Carmel Centre Compound was set on fire and burned to the ground, with over 70 Branch Davidians dying in the fire. A total of 86 people lost their lives throughout the siege, and today we honour the lives of those who tragically, did not survive.
