Lord God Almighty and everlasting father you have brought us in safety to this new day preserve us with your Mighty power that we might not fall into sin or be overcome by adversity. And in all we do, direct us to the fulfilling of your purpose  through Jesus Christ Our Lord amen.  

Oh God you have made of one blood all the peoples of the earth and sent your blessed son to preach peace to those who are far and those who are near. Grant that people everywhere may seek after you, and find you. Bring the nations into your fold, pour out your Spirit on all flesh, and hasten the coming of your kingdom through Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.  

And now Lord,  make me an instrument of your peace.  Where there is hatred let me sow love. Where there is injury, pardon.  Where there is doubt, faith. Where there is despair, hope.  Where there is darkness, light.  And where there is sadness,  Joy.  Oh Lord grant that I might not seek to be consoled as to console. To be understood as to understand, to be loved as to love.  For it is in the giving that we receive, in the pardoning that we are pardoned, it is in the dying that we are born unto eternal life.  Amen

And now as our Lord has taught us we are bold to pray...

Dear Daily Radio Bible community,

All those days 
you felt like dust, 
like dirt, 
as if all you had to do
was turn your face
toward the wind
and be scattered
to the four corners

or swept away
by the smallest breath
as insubstantial—

Did you not know
what the Holy One
can do with dust?   

This is the day
we freely say
we are scorched.   

This is the hour
we are marked
by what has made it
through the burning.  

This is the moment
we ask for the blessing
that lives within
the ancient ashes,
that makes its home
inside the soil of
this sacred earth.   

So let us be marked
not for sorrow.
And let us be marked
not for shame.
Let us be marked
not for false humility
or for thinking
we are less
than we are  

but for claiming
what God can do
within the dust,
within the dirt,
within the stuff
of which the world
is made,
and the stars that blaze

Dear Daily Radio Bible Family,

In verse 32, Paul entrusts the elders to God and the message of His grace, emphasizing its capacity to build them up and secure an inheritance with those set apart for Him. As Hunter passionately highlights, this message of grace carries significant weight in our lives, just as it did for the people of Ephesus.

Oh God you have made of one blood all the peoples of the earth and sent your blessed son to preach peace to those who are far and those who are near. Grant that people everywhere may seek after you, and find you. Bring the nations into your fold, pour out your Spirit on all flesh, and hasten the coming of your kingdom through Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.  

And now Lord,  make me an instrument of your peace.  Where there is hatred let me sow love. Where there is injury, pardon.  Where there is doubt, faith. Where there is despair, hope.  Where there is darkness, light.  And where there is sadness,  Joy.  Oh Lord grant that I might not seek to be consoled as to console. To be understood as to understand, to be loved as to love.  For it is in the giving that we receive, in the pardoning that we are pardoned, it is in the dying that we are born unto eternal life.  Amen

In today's episode, we unpacks the powerful message of Paul as he preaches boldly in Ephesus. The central theme of Paul's message is the arrival of the kingdom of God, and how it is transforming lives and communities.

As we delve into the scripture, we are reminded that the kingdom of God disrupts and overturns the competing kingdoms of the world. It liberates people from bondage, brings forgiveness, breaks barriers, and unites individuals from different backgrounds. The love of Christ is known, and lives are being changed because the king has come, and his kingdom is here.

We also emphasizes that as God establishes his kingdom, it may require dismantling and derailing of our own agendas. However, through this process, we find ourselves fully embraced in the circle of God's love, experiencing true joy and purpose.

As we conclude, we join in prayer that we may fully embrace the kingdom of God in our lives and allow His agenda to rule over us. Let's pray for our own souls, our families, and for one another, that we may all experience the transformative power of God's kingdom.

Dear Daily Radio Bible Community,

In today's devotional, Hunter Barnes shared an affirming message from the book of Acts, reminding us not to be afraid, but to speak out and trust in God's plan. He highlighted the example of Paul receiving a vision to reinforce the simple yet powerful message of proclaiming Jesus as the Messiah. Sometimes, we too need a clearer vision of Christ to embolden us in our faith journey.

Heather emphasized the importance of not succumbing to fear, but rather, trusting in God's ongoing work in people's lives even before we speak a word. Whether we are struggling with fear, disappointment, or pain, his words encouraged us to resist the temptation of silence and isolation. Instead, he urged us to walk in faith and trust, knowing that the Spirit of God is at work, bringing life, hope, and freedom.

Drawing on the imagery of God's spirit being like a wind blowing across lives and circumstances, Heather invited us to join in walking in the spirit with faith and trust. He reminded us that where the spirit of God is, there is freedom - freedom from fear and isolation. Finally, Heather shared the poignant stanzas of a hymn, encapsulating the theme of embracing the winds of God's guidance and sailing through life's challenges with Christ as our pilot.

Lord God Almighty and everlasting father you have brought us in safety to this new day preserve us with your Mighty power that we might not fall into sin or be overcome by adversity. And in all we do, direct us to the fulfilling of your purpose  through Jesus Christ Our Lord amen.  

Oh God you have made of one blood all the peoples of the earth and sent your blessed son to preach peace to those who are far and those who are near. Grant that people everywhere may seek after you, and find you. Bring the nations into your fold, pour out your Spirit on all flesh, and hasten the coming of your kingdom through Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.  

And now Lord,  make me an instrument of your peace.  Where there is hatred let me sow love. Where there is injury, pardon.  Where there is doubt, faith. Where there is despair, hope.  Where there is darkness, light.  And where there is sadness,  Joy.  Oh Lord grant that I might not seek to be consoled as to console. To be understood as to understand, to be loved as to love.  For it is in the giving that we receive, in the pardoning that we are pardoned, it is in the dying that we are born unto eternal life.  Amen

And now as our Lord has taught us we are bold to pray...

Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, they kingdom come thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven, give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our tresspasses as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not unto temptation, but deliver us from evil, for thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.

Loving God, we give you thanks for restoring us in your image. And nourishing us with spiritual food, now send us forth as forgiven people, healed and renewed, that we may proclaim your love to the world, and continue in the risen life of Christ.  Amen.
