Aaron Hernandez was a multi-sport prodigy born and raised in Bristol Connecticut. With a tumultuous childhood featuring abuse from his father, to both of his parents being arrested for different crimes— there was seemingly no where to go but up. 

Unbeknownst to Aaron— there was an NFL dynasty 9 years in the making waiting for him 100 miles away in Foxboro, Massachusetts. A path that seemingly would have been the best fit for him, the hometown kid done good. But this path would eventually lead to his future arrest and life imprisonment. This is the story of the life, crimes and downfall of The New England Patriot’s tight end Aaron Hernandez.

William Holden was a legendary actor whose career started during the Golden Age of Hollywood, starring in such classics as Sunset Boulevard and Stalag 17. He was rich. He was famous. And he was a drunk! 

After his career fizzled, he drank himself into oblivion at his oceanfront Santa Monica condo. One night, after a few bottles of vodka, he slipped, fell, and died at the age of 63. Super Bowl Sunday. Atlanta. January 30, 2000. The Big Game was a Big Thriller and came down to the final play. But the real drama took place off the field. Ray Lewis, a Star Linebacker for the Baltimore Ravens, found himself at a post-game party where a drunken altercation turned deadly. 

By the time the clock ran out, he and 2 members of his entourage were charged with double homicide. A media blitz followed and Lewis was soon playing Defense again…in court. It’s one of the most infamous crimes in Sports History and we’re tackling it head-on today on Death in Entertainment!

Matthew Perry is dead at age 54 after a long history of substance abuse. He was found unresponsive in his hot tub after an apparent drowning due to cardiac arrest. More details to come on his exact cause of death.

Perry had a career filled with hits (a little show called FRIENDS...hello!!!), misses (best we forget THE WHOLE TEN YARDS) and everything in between (STUDIO 60 ON THE SUNSET STRIP). In 2022, he published a brutally honest memoir called FRIENDS, LOVERS AND THE BIG TERRIBLE THING, which focuses on his never-ending battle with drug addiction.
