    About Wesley

While being blessed and privileged in many ways, much of Wesley’s life has been rife with mental, emotional, and even physical abuse.

Due to this, he spent much of his life living with feelings of anger, fear, guilt, and shame bottled up inside him.

This trauma was made worse due to being “twice-exceptional”, leading to a life full of hardship and misunderstanding.

What all of these experiences ultimately led to was a life completely full of denial and a near-absolute void of self-love.

He has gotten through this by reconnecting with his authentic self from childhood - before all of the conditioning and programming.

Wesley believes that if we hope to ever collectively heal this world, we must begin by first discarding the guilt, shame, and fear we feel when it comes to both expressing our authentic truths and acknowledging our lived experiences for what they were.

    Eric’s website: https://thedecisionswemake.com/

    About Eric

Students are struggling to make healthy choices when dealing with pain and adversity. As a result, they make unhealthy decisions that do not solve their problems and are more likely to make them worse. This can lead to mental health challenges, including addiction, anxiety, and depression. Unfortunately, many youths believe they deserve what they are experiencing and, without help, will continue further down their darkened paths.

Eric helps students and student-athletes understand how making better life decisions now leads to a more fulfilling life. Through stories and examples, the students and athletes learn how they can immediately change the course of their own lives and the lives of others.

In our conversation, I include real-life experiences, including having witnessed my younger brother make poor decisions that ultimately led to his death. Of course, we also discuss people who have turned their lives around through making positive choices.

If your audience includes students, student-athletes, or their teachers and parents, I would enjoy the opportunity to show them how the decisions they make every day can have long-term consequences on their lives.

    Darryl’s website: https://www.darrylrodgers.com

    About Darryl in his words

My oldest of two boys, Chase, attended college on a football scholarship.  He dropped out in the second semester of his freshman year after developing a drug addiction.  When I first learned of Chase's drug habit, I didn't know anything about substance use disorders, and I panicked.  I made a lot of parenting mistakes.
Through an intervention, we were able to get Chase into treatment, but I didn't realize the proper role of the family in the recovery process.  In some ways I was enabling Chase and doing things that may have contributed to his eventual relapse.

I worried about Chase constantly, but it seemed as though my efforts to help him only made matters worse.

Chase returned home from treatment and was doing well with his recovery at first, but months later, he relapsed and in 2014 at the age of 20, Chase died in a drug-impaired wreck.  Chase was a passenger in the front seat of his own car.  The 18-year-old driver took her own life 7 months later.

After Chase died, I immersed myself in learning everything I could about substance use disorders. (drug & alcohol addiction).

I wrote a book about Chase's life.  I began doing drug prevention speaking.  I read books about addiction, attended seminars, and watched videos.  I volunteered to facilitate a peer support group for parents with children struggling with a substance use disorder.

There is no cure for a substance use disorder, but I have discovered steps parents can take to give their child the best opportunity at recovery.

Want to get better sleep: https://menopausematterspodcast.com/optin

    About Jeanne

Jeanne Andrus spent the first 48 years of her life doing everything the "right way." You know, good grades, college, marriage, career, baby... all the things.
Then at age 48, perimenopause clobbered her. But her symptoms weren't changing periods and hot flashes. Depression, anger, and low libido took her out of the life she'd built for herself.

Determined not to let this change destroy her, she began a 4 year journey to health, happiness, and a new purpose in life. She lost 80 pounds, moved from New England to New Orleans, and quit her corporate job to help other women struggling with menopause symptoms and changes ditch their symptoms and delight in life again.

Wanting to understand how and why menopause affects women so completely, Jeanne spends hours down the rabbit holes of the internet, chasing wisps of information about the physical, emotional, mental, and social aspects of “The Change.”

She blends her own experience, the results of her research, and her training in traditional exercise and nutrition with a myriad of holistic approaches including Reiki energy healing and yogic breathwork to create a unique coaching experience she calls Menopause Mastery Coaching.

In addition to her coaching, Jeanne is the author of five international best sellers on menopause, including “I Just want to Be ME Again!” (now in its second edition) and her book aimed towards men trying to understand how menopause is affecting someone they love – “Where is My Wife and What Have You Done with Her?”

When not speaking, writing and coaching about menopause, she loves hanging out in New Orleans, listening to live music or riding in Mardi Gras parades, or traveling the US with her husband and dog.

    About Edward

As Featured on INSIDER and ABC... Newly published author of Cancer, Musical Theatre, and Other Chronic Illnesses available at Barnes & Noble, Walmart, AppleBooks, and anywhere you buy books.
In this fantasy, non-fiction, funny-as-cancer-can-be musical theatre fever dream fueled by chemo, alcohol, sex, & heartbreak you will experience the honest, raw & oftentimes hilarious view of Edward, as he navigates his way through the painful realities of being a full-time cancer patient - indecencies, heartbreaks, wins, shenanigans & more. With no choice but to watch as his relationships, career & life disintegrate before his eyes on the wings of a themed musical montage, Edward faces hard truths, dehumanizing situations, & death, all while scores of nurses & doctors carelessly belt & fan-kick in his face.

From diagnosis to cancer free status, the things that go down in your life, the things that shift and change and redirect is insurmountable. I was broken up with, had one of my best friends stop talking to me, missed out on huge career opportunities, all while losing my hair, my body, my sense of identity, and having to plan a funeral - mine.

Once I was given the 'get out of cancer free' card, everyday things were a total dirge. I couldn't comprehend why, after having been given this new chance, this new lease on life I was having a hard time doing the daily basics. It wasn't until a chance encounter with a newly dubbed cancer free human that the conversation of 'what is happening to me' cracked wide open.

There is no going back; only forward.

    About Clint

From being a former drug addict and divorced in my late twenties to a pastor to losing my 17-year-old son in a tragic plane crash to inspiring people to be courageous humans. I have lived a very layered life. At 12 years old I faced living with a mother that suffered from suicidal ideation, which on two occasions almost cost me my own life. During our 20-year marriage together, Amárillys and I have experienced a miscarriage and two sons born prematurely (Gabriel at 3 lbs 12 ozs & Liam at 1 lb 14 ozs) because of her life (and theirs) being threatened by a pregnancy disease. While giving birth to our middle son Joel, we had another close call as she had great difficulty waking up from the anesthesia. There have been many other scary moments and setbacks. There have also been some amazing experiences and victories!

All of these challenges helped prepare me for the greatest blow of losing my oldest son to tragedy. There are foundational mindsets, values, and character traits I have lived by that have empowered me (and my family) to be resilient and thrive again no matter what life throws at us!

My mission is to develop Courageous Humans that desire to live Inspiring Lives!
