    We had the pleasure and privilege of speaking with GLAAD award nominated writer Jadzia Axelrod as part of Color of Fandom's V-Con. In this interview, we talk to Jadzia about her graphic novel Galaxy: The Prettiest Star from DC comics, and a bit about her soon to be released works DC: Book of Pride, and Hawkgirl.

    Jadzia Axelrod is an author and illustrator with notable works such as “Frankenstein’s Support Group For Misunderstood Monsters,” a comic about monsters and feelings. She is also the writer and producer of the award-winning podcast, “The Voice Of Free Planet X."

    We are kicking of season 4 with a series of panels that Robyn recorded at Ret-Con in Cary NC. For this panel, Robyn is joined by some of our friends from Color of Fandom. They talk about comic book film and television adaptations including what makes a good one, and some of the pitfalls. One correction: In regard to the release of Y the Last Man, it was released during the George W. Bush presidency.

    We're back, and with October just around the corner, we have a spooky one for you! The Low, Low Woods is from Joe Hill's Hill House comics, a DC horror imprint. Writer Carmen Maria Machado along with artist Dani, and colorist Tamra Bonvillain bring to life the Pennsylvania mountain tow of Shudder-to-think. Something is happening to the women in town. Many are loosing memories and gaps in time. Best friends El and Octavia search for answers as the discover strange things around lost memories.
