Please enjoy nearly two hours of my headlining set from the Electric Cowboy party at the world-renowned Belly Up Aspen for Aspen Gay Ski Week 2k24. I had a blast playing the Thursday night main event this year, sponsored by my friends at VISIT DALLAS. It's always an honor DJing this weekend, which raises money for AspenOut, a 501(c)3 non-profit that provides support and services to the diverse LGBTQ+ population of the Roaring Fork Valley.

Hello friends… just before a long holiday weekend in the U.S., I wanted to share my latest house music podcast. It’s been a full year since I put out a proper (pre-recorded) podcast (not a live set) — sometimes the process of making these can be taxing and frustrating… I needed a break from putting out podcasts semi-regularly. But I’m feeling inspired to get back to making them now, so this fall my music output is about to get bigger and louder than ever!

It’s also been a while since I’ve put out a Big Room podcast and I was ready to create something along the lines of what you’re listening to right now. You’ll hear that my #PugLife sound has changed quite a bit. It’s much more tech-house-centric and more influenced by the DJ/producers I listen to these days. However, as always, you’ll hear a few of my remixes sprinkled throughout, including Stephen Jusko and I’s tech house take on François Sagat’s new single “I Don't Want To Break Your Heart, “Love Lift Me Up” (our summer collab with Debby Holiday), as well as our new remix of Chappell Roan’s “Pink Pony Club.”

I have some exciting stuff on the horizon this fall… so keep your eye on this space! I’ll also have “House Is A Feeling” Vol. 13 coming out soon!

Part 2 of my Sunday Daddy Disco set from BUNKER In Washington DC (Aug. 6th, 2k23)... this was honestly a very difficult set for me to play. It followed a celebration of life for a person who was a member of the BUNKER family; he was a new friend in my life... and someone whose wedding I had played just one year earlier. The doors opened to the public at 9 p.m. when many of his closest friends and loved ones were still gathered. It was very difficult for me to find a balance between getting the party going and thinking about trying to honor his memory. I ended the set on a special somewhat somber note, in tribute to him. I'd like to send special love and appreciation through this set to all of my incredible DC family.

It’s been a minute since I’ve put out a new proper podcast… that’s mostly because I’ve been on the road a lot this summer. But as I was prepping music to head out to Burning Man this week, I was so inspired by everything that I was listening to that I felt compelled to share a little preview of what I’ll be playing this year out on the playa.

For your listening enjoyment, the second half of my set from San Diego Pride's UNITE Music Festival '22 - an event that is truly one of my favorite festivals to be a part of due to the incredible diversity of talent that's brought in each year. I had the honor of kicking off the weekend on Friday, July 15th, at the WÜF party at Spin nightclub, playing alongside my friend DJ J Warren.

I haven't been able to get podcasts out regularly this summer because I've mostly been on the road. So, here's a live set to share from what's been an absolutely amazing summer so far!

The first half of my set was pretty much all house and tech house, which you will also hear during the top of this set! I hope you enjoy the second half just as much!

… that’s the theme of this latest installment of my House Is A Feeling podcast series! As mentioned when I posted Vol. 10, this one has a bit more of a tech-house vibe (as opposed to the last one, which was much more disco house… but don’t worry, the Nu-Disco sound still shows up in bits & pieces in this one too!)

I’m very bummed out that my Embassy of Haus gig on Feb. 26th was canceled (almost the entire staff at the venue caught COVID and it was too late to find an alternative location), but I’ll be back in LA for Heart WeHo and King Sundays on March 12th/13th, and after that, I’m super excited about making my debut for Afterglow at X Bar in Denver on March 19th!

This Pride month, the world is (almost) back! It's Pride weekend in my just-reopened hometown of Los Angeles, and the children... are... living!

It’s an amazing feeling for most of the world to be able to dance, rejoice, and celebrate together again. Of course, it’s still not this way for everyone - and this past year has been filled with tremendous pain and loss - and yet, there have been so many silver linings and lessons learned from this pandemic year, along with the realization that tomorrow is not promised to any of us.

As many of you know (and probably just as many of you don’t!) outside of my DJ/producer work, I work full-time at one of the largest LGBTQ social justice organizations in the U.S. Pride season is a busy time for us, and for me, it’s not all dance parties and celebrations. Pride was - and must always continue to be - a protest. The roots of our joy are interconnected with the long struggle of the fight for equality - something that so many in the LGBTQ community still have yet to fully achieve.

Music is my creative outlet, and this year it’s my joy to share with you Stephen Jusko and I’s new remix of “Stronger” by Sam Feldt feat. Kesha, a track that we're sure will become a pride anthem for us for years to come.
