Every year I hear other cats remixing the same old Halloween songs---Halloween Theme, Thriller, Ghostbusters--which are all great but I wanted to contribute something new. Something no one had touched before. I've been loving the new season of American Horror Story FreakShow and when I stopped to really listen to Cesar Davila & Charlie Clouser's opening theme music I immediately had ideas for it---so here's my remix.

Played my first event for my new friends at South Moon Under last week. Their GIRLS NIGHT OUT event at the Tice's Corner store featured guest stylist Lyss Stern of Diva Moms, the lovely ladies of SMU & yours truly on the turntables. Here's a snip from the mix I I played.

BACKSTORY: My good friend Reggie Griffith is a live sound engineer for some of the biggest music acts in the world. In the last few years his resume has included Kesha, Katy Perry, Janelle Monae, Gnarls Barkley and Prince!!!! Reggie also programs the music that's played in between the bands sets at the shows --that music is mainly made up of my dj mixes and podcasts. THANKS REGGIE!!!!

Thanks to my peeps at Scratch Events and Mas Event & Design I was asked to spin for BBC America's UpFront Blitz at Terminal 5 in NYC last week. The playlist was more private party than 'big room' but the crowd was AWESOME!!! Really enthusiastic and ready to party, they were shouting out the call & responses and singing the words everytime I took the music out. Here's an excerpt of my set. Enjoy!
