    We're on the Case

    We're on the Case
We start off by speaking briefly of BP Logix's acquisition by investors, and the appointment of a new CEO, we then move to Case Management and BPM. We briefly discuss the history of BPM and Case Management, and mention some things that implement case management that you might not have thought about before. We also talk about how Case management intersects with ML/AI. Will our new computer overlords implement Case Management to run the matrix? We can't wait to find out!

    Avoiding Skynet

    Avoiding Skynet
Everybody is jumping onto the AI train. From autonomous vehicles to fast food to military applications, everybody wants to get involved in AI. But, who is thinking about the ethics of AI? Indeed, what are the ethical considerations that AI programmers should be worried about...and implementing? Actually, this whole description could consist of nothing but questions. Questions to which there are some clearly wrong answers, but not, unhappily, any reliably good ones. They are certainly questions that need to be asked, however.

    We Need Term Limits

    We Need Term Limits
Last week, Dale and Bonnie forgot to mention why they came up with the name for the podcast. This week, they didn't forget. In a world of intelligent platforms, maybe code isn't your best option. They then talked about the proliferation of terms and acronmyms in the BPM/DPA/RPA/IPA space. Acronyms like those, in fact. Do they confuse customers? Do they actually mean different things, or are they marketing-driven? Do customers know what they mean when they use them? It's a conundrum. Companies and analysts create them for good (and bad) reasons. How do you cut through those terms and get to messages that have meaning for customers? Man, Bonnie and Dale are full of questions. And some answers.

    Let's Get This Party Started

    Let's Get This Party Started
The inaugural podcast starts with Bonnie and Dale introducing themselves, and talking about the podcast. Admittedly, they don't know much about the new podcast, mainly because they haven't actually made an episode of it, and it hasn't had a chance to evolve into anything. Still, they have hope. The pair then takes a look at some BPM.com predictions about what 2019 will look like for BPM and Digital Transformation. They discuss Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and rate some of the predictions. At least the predictions they disagree with, anyway, to explain why those predictions are so horribly, horribly wrong. The tiniest possibility also exists that these industry experts know more than Bonnie or Dale.
