This week the never ending continuous routine of the pandemic has made some people compare this lock-down to the film Groundhog Day but I contend it's not really like that at all and we should be thankful that it's not. But before I even get to that there is a lot of waffle and gallows humour as well as some fake religious sermonising and radio DJ banter that has me wishing for the quote, unquote normal times. All this plus a hypocritical take-down of social media. Follow me online and prove my hypocrisy and enjoy the song at the end while my brain has some technical difficulties.

No, not Betelguese. Michael. Who could have been cast, what's a scat got to do with it? What's a BeetleMoose? Why is there a full run through of terrible talking horse comedy 'Hot To Trot', a movie with an inflatable sex horse in the middle of this episode.?! Ed also talks about new hip show Bridgerton. He also reviews the first Dad book he has received. Will it prepare him for impending fatherhood or is it a load of nonsense? Ed recounts his recent stint as a Zoom Santa Claus and the highs and lows that come with being seasonal gift man. There's also a silly news section where Ed gets to the truth about the dangers of what his Father Gerry has called "Mint Heart". What is it? Is it a real thing? Or just something that Ed's Dad just made up or thought was a real thing? The answer will shock and surprise you!

He talks to his robot buddy BB-8 about whether the matrix is real or not and how he copes with being a corporate plaything. Ed also has been summoned for jury duty but he knows how to get out of it and recalls the last time he served. Plus, what new job has Ed landed that involves 19 other men? While making the podcast at the beginning of the pandemic lockdown, Ed was tired of just delivering monologues about his life and thoughts on the topics of the day no matter how cool, funny and interesting they were. He then had the idea of making a silly soap opera for the podcast and all he had was a title, "Love Notes". That alone made him laugh and armed with no plot, he started recording ten minute segments at the end of the episodes. The entire thing is improvised in his brain and comes out of his mouth as it happens and is then edited afterwards with sound effects and music. All of the episodes of the soap within a pod are now compiled here together with an extra special song at the end for your listening pleasure. Enjoy!
