I am giving an overview of the 5 languages and my thoughts on how understanding them can help you in communication and all relationships in your life. I believe that understanding how you need to receive love is a huge step in discovering yourself and what you want in relationships - from parents and partners. It can point out patterns for how you have felt rejected or unloved and it can also help you understand and build connection with your children and friends too!

Today I am sharing a bit of my story on taking part in not one but two HGTV shows including some tips and considerations if you are thinking of applying. I am going to take you behind the scenes on what the last year has looked like as I renovated my home in Prince Edward County - this is my biggest renovation to date and like I have said before not my last! Something comes alive in me in the renovation dust, making decisions and tradeoffs and building a beautiful functional space is something I LOVE to do now... who knew!
