Led Zeppelin wowed the world in December 2007 with a reunion show at London's O2 Arena. Yet while Jimmy Page, John Paul Jones and the late John Bonham’s son Jason wanted to keep the winning streak going, Robert Plant made it immediately clear he had no interest in performing more shows. That led the remaining members to hold secret auditions throughout 2008 for a singer. Not much is actually known about these sessions (Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler and Alter Bridge’s Myles Kennedy are the only singers to have publicly confirmed their participation, and it was never confirmed what Page and co’s intentions actually were), but ultimately nothing came to fruition… but what if those 2008 sessions actually did lead to something?
