Sam Rio, born and raised in the Middle East, began his voyage into the electronic dance music industry in early 2007. Driven by his love and passion for house music, he chose to dedicate himself and most of his time in the studio cooking beats. He has played at different private parties in Kuwait, including boat cruises, although a clubbing scene practically does not exist in Kuwait (Publically). Attracted the most to groovy deep tech house, he is influenced by the likes of Steve Lawler, Richie Hawtin, Nic Fanciulli, Marco Carola, Carlo Lio, Dubfire, Carl Cox, Nima Gorji and many more! He supports, and usually drops tracks from artists such as Anton Pieete, Joris Voorn, Ramon Tapia, Lauhaus, Nick Curly, Okain, Julien Chaptal, Davide Squillace, Luca Bacchetti, Strict Border, Loko, Tapesh, Kaiserdisco, Hector Couto, and much more! And as the tech-house industry evolves, you always find Rio delivering the hottest and most up-to-date tunes and beats. Keeping a close eye on the artists/producers he's most attracted to, he continues to drop hot sets, sometimes extended!
