Acts 1:8 The Sent, Celebrating The Call

Acts 1:8 The Sent, Celebrating The Call

This is our sermon from July 23. In this sermon we talked about the calling that Jesus gives his followers. Those who were sent, celebrating the calling that Jesus has given or chosen for them.
Unfortunately, those church members who were leaving for their mission trip were unable to go due to some complications where they were going. It was not safe for those members to go; however, we are still celebrating that they got the calling to go and help as we are finding a time where they are able to go on that calling again.
We hope you enjoy and join us next week!

    July 2nd, Celebrating our Freedom

    July 2nd, Celebrating our Freedom

This is our sermon from July 2. Our theme was Celebrating our Freedom. We talked about our nation and what that means to us. As well as how our nation, and our freedom ties into God. The scripture below is what we used for the sermon!
1 Peter 2: Living Godly Lives in a Pagan Society

11 Dear friends, I urge you, as foreigners and exiles, to abstain from sinful desires, which wage war against your soul. 12 Live such good lives among the pagans that, though they accuse you of doing wrong, they may see your good deeds and glorify God on the day he visits us.

13 Submit yourselves for the Lord’s sake to every human authority: whether to the emperor, as the supreme authority, 14 or to governors, who are sent by him to punish those who do wrong and to commend those who do right. 15 For it is God’s will that by doing good you should silence the ignorant talk of foolish people. 16 Live as free people, but do not use your freedom as a cover-up for evil; live as God’s slaves servants. 17 Show proper respect to everyone, love the family of believers, fear God, honor the emperor.
As Always, we hope you enjoy and tune back in next week for our next sermon!!!!
