Adam Stasuk is an old friend and former fitness trainer who previously worked with Coach Garry Dubbs in his Baltimore days. He join us today to recount his personal experience climbing out of a life and health slump into the best shape of his life physically and mentally. Adam shares personal anecdotes about amateur bodybuilding and the training that lead to him winning his first competition and receiving his pro card.
In this episode, Hailey, Garry, and Adam talk about setting goals and turning around a life (and health) trajectory when you know things are going the wrong way.

[5:45] Going back to 2018, examining the mental and physical state that prompted Adam to start his weight loss and bodybuilding challenge. Adam knew that his typical healthy weight close to 160 pounds was a far cry from the seventy plus pounds he had put on in only a few years and 235 was a big wake-up call.

Garry Dubbs (garry@athfits.com) earned his BS in Exercise Science and is a former D1 Strength & Conditioning Coach. He owned and operated his own gym in Baltimore, MD for 3 years before starting ATH. Growing up, he was a competitive wrestler, football player, and golfer. Being a multi-sport athlete truly taught him the importance of moving WELL.
Hailey Grandchamp (hailey@athfits.com) earned her BA in psychology and MA in early childhood education and spent the past 4 years teaching 1st grade in Baltimore City. Not only that, she is a former high level gymnast and multi-sport athlete, so she knows the importance of finding what works and is fun for YOU!
Garry and Hailey are currently engaged and live in Colorado with their dogs Dakota, Nala, and Zuzu
