Considered Bo Schembechler’s greatest captain, linebacker Andy Cannavino started three seasons from 1978 to 1980, holds the school record for linebackers with six interceptions and sixth all time at U-M with 385 tackles. As a senior in 1980, he led Michigan to a 10-2 record, a win over Ohio State, a Big Ten title, and a Rose Bowl victory, finishing No. 4 in the country.
