    Ep 14: WCW WrestleWar 1989

Hot off the heels of the #CancelShane movement, Harry and Shane are here to talk about WCW's first official PPV WrestleWar. Of course Harry and Shane have many tangents and in this episode they talk about Shotzi Blackhart, Cheddar Biscuits, Jehovah's witness, Virgil's meat sauce, Stings rat tail, Ricky Steamboat vs. Ric Flair, Terry Funk game, Harry calling Kevin Sullivan, Super Mario 3 and more!

    Ep 13: WWF Survivor Series 1989 #CancelShane

    Ep 13: WWF Survivor Series 1989 #CancelShane

a.k.a. The One Where Shane Gets Cancelled. The boys talk about Survivor Series 1989, and Shane shares his halloween costume inspired by this event that has not aged well (Which sends Harry into a fit of laughter for 6 minutes straight). Harry also adds Jacques Rougeau to his Virgil list of wrestlers that he hates. Shane does horrible impressions of everyone on the roster. Long matches, lots of finishes, but was it good? Hulk Hogan, Ultimate Warrior, Macho King, Jesse Ventura, Andre The Giant and more!

Ep12: Season 2 Premiere: NJPW Tokyo Dome 1989

Ep12: Season 2 Premiere: NJPW Tokyo Dome 1989

Season 2 Premiere.   We are watching the best (or whatever) from 1989, and first up is the first ever wrestling show in the Tokyo Dome.  We get a tournament to crown a new IWGP Heavyweight Champion, Inoki defending his martial arts title, and the debut of Jushin Liger (So you know who's getting best dressed)! Plus: Vader, Victor Zangiev, Benny the Jet, Dead or Alive Beach Volleyball,
Shane shares a very gross story, quantum leap, and much more!

Ep10: WrestleMania 2 vs. Starcade '86 The Night of the Skywalkers

Ep10: WrestleMania 2 vs. Starcade '86 The Night of the Skywalkers

We go back to 1986 and compare WWF and NWA/JCP's  Starcade '86 The Night of the Skywalkers.  Both shows feature multiple venues, cage matches, and both have their highlights, and their lowlights.  Shane and Harry both bring their terrible impressions of various personality's and also talk about:  Gene Mean, Fire Pro Wrestling, Ballerinos, Jesse Ventura, Andrew Dice Clay, The Documentary known as the Predator, Vince MacMahon is a lizard, Don Kernoodle, Hogan vs Monsters, Flair Making Stars and much more.

    Ep9: 2002 Toryumon vs. T2P vs. 2020 Dragon Gate

    Ep9: 2002 Toryumon vs. T2P vs. 2020 Dragon Gate

Harry and Shane are comparing Toryumon Japan Absoltamente - 9/8/2002 vs.  Dragon Gate - Gate of Destiny 2020 - 11/3/2020.  DragonGate would form out of Toryumon, but Toryumon's biggest show was a show competing against its first offspring: T2P (Toryumon 2000 Project).  In this episode Harry and Shane have a hard time find negatives things to say about these shows as both are great.  But Harry finds a way to have cartoon hate for Shuji Kondo, and Shane hate's all the old guys in Dragon Gate that used to be young guys in Toryumon.  They also talk about Ultimo Dragon's time in WWE, Magnum Tokyo's dance routine, Shane's experiences working for Toryumon, the history of Toryumon and T2P, our love of Jae, Shane's experiences working for Dragon Gate USA, and more!

Ep8: ECW Barely Legal 97 vs. All In

Ep8: ECW Barely Legal 97 vs. All In

Harry and Shane take two inaugural PPV's as they are watching the first ECW PPV and seeing how it stacks up with the future AEW's All In.  Harry also tries to get Shane to play All Star Pro Wrestling (to little avail).  Harry blows everyone's ear drums with his Bill Alfonzo impression.  Both shows having timing issues.  Wrestling Nerds.  BWO. Michinoku Pro. Dream Matches.  See you on the Jericho Cruise!

    Ep 7: Tokyo Dome Special 2 - NJPW 1992 vs. NJPW 2012

    Ep 7: Tokyo Dome Special 2 - NJPW 1992 vs. NJPW 2012

Harry and Shane are back in the tokyo dome again.  Struggling for bad impressions, we have to settle for Larry Zbyszko and Bill Alfonso.  The podcast almost ends when Shane doesn't like Sting/Muta vs. Steiner Bros.  Shane gets bored and googles Ludvig Borga (and regrets it).  We also are treated to some great matches featuring Antonio Inoki, Minoru Suzuki, Shinsuke Nakamura, Naomichi Marufuji, Hiroshi Tanahashi, Kazuchika Okada, Scott Norton (Harry made me write that), and many more.  Two great shows going at it this week!

Ep4: WWF/SWS Super Wrestle vs WCW/NJPW Collision in Korea

Ep4: WWF/SWS Super Wrestle vs WCW/NJPW Collision in Korea

The wheel has landed on America in the East.  WWF and WCW both had various attempts at running shows in the east, and collaborating with Japanese companies, these two shows are highlights of those collaborations.  Harry and Shane talk about WWF joining with SWS and putting on a show that is highlighted with Hulk Hogan vs Genichiro Tenryu (#SadTenryu).  WCW on the other hand is joining NJPW in North Korea where we get Antonio Inoki vs Ric Flair for the first time ever.   Harry and Shane dive deep into the history of Japanese pro wrestling promotion ideology,  sleeper matches, matches that put you to sleep, and much more.

Ep3: Wrestlemania VII vs Starcade 91

Ep3: Wrestlemania VII vs Starcade 91

Harry and Shane sit down this week and watch the Wrestlemania Shane was at, vs the Starcade that Harry watches regularly.   Slaughter/Hulk Hogan vs. Battlebowl.  Shane shares his first hand experiences of attending the event, Harry shares a memorable story about meeting Virgil, Firebreaker Chip, Sting, Tassle Thongs, sleeping through the main event, Abdullah the Butcher, and plenty of bad impressions are all discussed on this weeks episode.

Both of these events can be found on Peacock/WWE Network (for you lucky international listeners).   Or you can scour the interwebs for the Turner Home Edition if you want to watch as Harry Did.

Ep2: Tokyo Dome Special: 1990 SuperFight vs 2003 Wrestling World

Ep2: Tokyo Dome Special: 1990 SuperFight vs 2003 Wrestling World

Harry and Shane are back and this one is a little bit of something they love and a little bit of something they hate as they visit two era's of the Tokyo Dome.  They talk Inokiism, Japanese Richard Simmons, Jushin Thunder Liger, Stan Hansen vs Vader, Vaders Eye, Masahiro Chono's weird breathing, guy's in their 30's being the "Young Generation", the Makai Club, Shinsuke Nakamura, Hiroshi Tanahashi getting stabbed, Rikidozan getting stabbed, MMA vs Pro Wrestling,

Ep 1: The First WCW Nitro vs. That Weeks (Prior) Raw

Ep 1: The First WCW Nitro vs. That Weeks (Prior) Raw

The inaugural episode of Harry and Shane's Wrestling Podcast.  We tackle some low hanging fruit and go to the start of the Monday Night Wars, pitting the first Monday Night Nitro (September 4, 1995) vs. the prior week's Monday Night Raw (August 28, 1995).  We get to the bottom of "how did Harry get his start"?  Who is the coolest guy in the 90's, Diesel or Johnny B. Badd?   Ath-a-letes.   Racist Theme Songs. Mongo.  Spaghetti Weather.
