Indecent Disclosure

We’re back y’all and ready to get rolling again!! We took a break for a few reasons, Covid included, but we’re finally feeling better. A great conversation ensues about our experience being ill together. Holly got a bunch of packages, and we let the dogs break the rules a bit. Overall we made the best of it! Shoutout to all of our friends that took care of us, you seriously rock.

Just a lil guy this week as we quickly share some gratitudes and appreciations before a short poem that Holly's dad used to read every year.

This one’s fun. Holly burned a letter that she wrote to herself because it no longer served her mission! She reads us a portion of her journal pre-covid, and Steven interprets it for us. We chat about the number 108, what it means to us, and then close with some light hearted conversation plus a poem.

A shorty, but not lacking in content.

The title says it all! We kick this one off discussing our growth over the past year, how we’ve changed for the better, and our decision making skills. Then we get into some proposal fake-outs that you won’t want to miss. Cheers to a year of our goofiness. Thanks for everyone’s support so far!

Sorry we blanked on our 50th episode celebration, we do it this time. Holly’s brother released some new music, go check him out on your streaming platform of choice. Arizona White, boom baby. Then we share some funny recent happenings, and set ourselves up for an epic year anniversary of our podcast. We close with an embarrassing story from Holly, this ones a must listen!!!

We’re letting the deliriousness drive us this episode, it’s gonna be authentic. Holly has to vent about her tattoos for a sec, she’s fired up about these dummies she has to serve, and has some other ridiculous stories for us. We close talking about Larry David’s role in Curb Your Enthusiasm, the British version of The Office and a serious note from Holly. Lot’s of laughs today y’all.

Have you ever been to a circus? Holly listens back sometimes and can’t figure out why her sentences are so all over the place but alas, we went to the circus and it tripped us out but gets us into a rad story about Holly’s dad plus so much more. We LOVED it! All this circus talk leads us into a conversation about animal consent and treatment. It almost goes down the rabbit hole, but y’all know us! Wish Steven a happy belated :)

Our communication skills are incredible, but it’s because we’ve trained them that way. We dissect how your ego can affect conversations in your relationship and what to do about it. Then we pivot into generational trauma, how to break it, how it makes us feel, and why you gotta give the benefit of the doubt at times. Part two rocks, send us your feedback y’all.

We start off with some behind the scenes action. We talk about the dynamics of Steven being the one to propose, the intricacies of engagements, and Holly plays some devils advocate for once. It’s so rad we split it in two, part one closes with communication dynamics when we have a rough moment, and Steven advocating that everyone deserves to fall in love.

Kicking this week off we’re a little sleepy. How do you use the phrase “Say Less”? We go deep about compassion and how it relates to people you used to interact with. Holly has a friend that’s coming on Below Deck. Our wedding plans are going very smoothly, with a tiny hang up. We almost end on a Godly note, but slide back into decision making when planning the wedding to finish it off. It’s all uphill from here y’all

Steven doesn’t like Adele. Holly sold hella specials. Are Mom bods and Dad bods intertwined? Whats the proper way to comment on your partner’s weight? We have an amazing conversation about it. It’s so important to have a partner that acknowledges you, the comings and the goings, and all the fluctuations in between. This one gets a lil deep, but it was much needed! Leave us a review y’all!

Holly’s been watching Power Nation, without Steven! She is also super grateful for her new job, as crazy as the schedule has been. Steven’s been leveling up at work too, so we’re on a roll together baby! We get into some funny stories for some relief, and then close it out with a customer service conversation. How do you handle your hot sauce? This week we are into Steve-O’s podcast, Sword and Scale (a true crime podcast that Holly loves!), Divinely Human has been on Holly’s radar too. Steven just likes to jam out when he has free time and thats cool too! We seriously love where we live, and we don’t take it for granted. We deliver that real relatable content so buckle up y’all.

Part two gets heavy on the business boundaries! Don’t work your life away y’all. How much should you sacrifice for your work goals? Setting your boundaries at work can change your life. Holly expresses her happiness with getting back into bartending, Steven shares how his experience hiring people has changed his ideas about work. This week is super sweet, and very insightful!

We’re back and livelier than ever! This episode is about support. Holly reveals a funny noise that Steven makes when he’s concentrating. We talk about alcohol as it relates to health, and Holly got a new job as a bartender in Sedona. Our schedules have become pretty opposite but we talk about how we come together and keep happy. We left ya hanging this week, but it gets really real next week so come prepared!

Steven starts this one off as Yoda, but we have our dear friend Kaitlyn on and we are sooo stoked! She’s single, but actively does the work for herself and her own happiness. Very very very exciting news this week. We’re engaged and its serious but not that serious, just perfect timing. Steven explains the proposal in depth and it’s a dream!!!! He planned a whole trip to Kauai, waited for the clouds to clear, and pulled the trigger. You wouldn’t want to miss this one. It’s adorable. Shoutout Lele and Jesse for all the help, y’all rock. This podcast travels all over the place, we’re so happy about it. This week we discuss a grab-bag of topics: Vlogs, people we know that invented cool things, our weekly gratitations, how weird the way the world works is, Bloody Mary, and so much more! We’re going on a Steven planned trip, but we don’t divulge where, but you may find out next week.

Part Two baby! We get back into the weird outdated rules about dating, Holly has a list. How do we feel about sex on the first date? Should you bring up your past when dating? Should you play hard to get/play it cool? What about texting/ constant communication? This one is super fun, so come join us non-daters while we hash out the important questions.

We start this week goofing off, but it gets serious. We’re going to talk about what NOT to do when dating, even though we’re a few years removed from it. What are your deal breakers? Farting? Adult Braces? Size definitely matters, and we go heart to heart about how we avoided problems, and what matters most when dating. Steven is sooo good at setting proper boundaries and handling relationship pressure calmly. We had to split it in two episodes but please DM us about our topics so far.
