Sometimes dead is better. This week the Invaders hike up to the Pet Sematary to resurrect Stephen King's two novel to film adaptations in a good old cat fight pitting the 1989 classic against the 2019 remake. If one doesn't make it, we'll just bury them in the pet sematary and bring them back again. What could possibly go wrong?

Ep.358 Remaking Doc Savage: The Man of Bronze (1975)

He's an adventurer and a hero with a keen mind that no criminal can defeat, he is Doc Savage: The Man of Bronze (1975). Based on the pulp novel and comic book character from 1933, Doc Savage jumps off the page with rippling muscles, bronzed skin and ripped shirts in a camp adventure that is so weird and bizarre that the Invaders couldn't resist trying to remake it in this week's episode.

Ep.350 The Fast and the Furious (1954 vs. 2001)

It's our big 350th episode and we are going fast and furious with our celebrations. The Fast and the Furious began on the highways of Roger Corman's brain in 1954 as an escaped convict steals a Jaguar, kidnapping the owner, and enters a road race that can help him escape into Mexico. While the Universal film in 2001 is not a remake we do find some interesting similarities that may have influenced the Vin Diesel and Paul Walker film.
