Jared Diehl The Louder Now Podcast

Louder Now is about making a loud noise about mental illness and all things related to mental health. From topics such as anxiety, depression, bipolar, exc. Louder Now also seeks to merge the gap between faith and science. An exploration into Christian thinking alongside the knowledge of body and biology. Mental Health can be a complicated subject and so can the bible. How do you walk this life and carry the weight of both subjects? How do you reconcile the messages of faith, hope, and most of all love yet suffer with sadness, loneliness, and isolation that comes from mental anguish. Perhaps the worst of all sufferings is the suicidal mind. Come along for the ride and join the Louder Now Podcast and host Jared Diehl to explore this conversation in more depth. Podcast includes interviews from various voices and friends that have been willing to be courageous and speak up about their own struggles. Episode #189: Bought With A Price / The Body

Episode #189: Bought With A Price / The Body

What do you think of when you look in the mirror? How the body impacts diagnosis and healing. Thoughts on continuing to talk about how medicine treats symptoms but to get to how we feel in our body and what we think of our bodies..this a huge missing component in these conversations around diagnosis.

Episode #188: Healing The Soul With Rimsha Warda

Episode #188: Healing The Soul With Rimsha Warda

This is a special and unique episode. I get into some work with my friend Rimsha. We explore some childhood fears and I'm all for it! I hope it gives you hope that you can do this work to. These are the kinds of conversations that we need.

    BIO:

I am a Shamana, Medicine Woman and a healer (who is also behind the scenes on a deep childhood sexual trauma healing journey). I was born and raised in Pakistan and moved to the US when i was 14. My spiritual awakening (or as I like to call wounds awakening) happened when I one day woke up, listened to the spirit that was loud and clear and moved to Nepal as a young 17 year old. This is where my healing began. I have traveled to over 28 countries to search for "Me". And during the period, I got lost in the masculine world first as an aerospace engineer then as a US Marine Officer until my nervous system completely fried and i was forced to face those wounds that i first discovered as a young woman in Nepal. I have known deep pain yet in that pain, I also learned to alchemize them to be a spiritual guide. I deeply care for the awakening of the collective so we stop going to war with each others nation and stop going to war with ourselves and to remember that we are the God's consciousness living a human experience. We CAN in fact live a beautiful, prosperous, heck even luxurious life even as a spiritual guide.

Episode #181: Desperation, Truth, And The Healing Path

Episode #181: Desperation, Truth, And The Healing Path

    Episode #181.

Quiet desperation. All the signs of the universe and God's master plan come down to this very real and special moment. Either move forward or turn away and hide. Either rise to the occasion or stay in the same loop you've been in for a really long time. Without shame or judgment or guilt or fear that does not move us toward the light. I am interested in the healing path.

Episode #179: Disease Or Not? The Healing Path.

Episode #179. Solo show where I discuss some things I have been learning:

    1. Time to myself. A quiet atmosphere but being quiet in my mind..
    2. The discomfort of time to our selves makes us either face it or run away
    3. Is the mental illness language correct? Do we have a disease?
    4. Inspiration from a recovery podacst on YouTube..we can't label good or bad.

I posted on Instagram..this is what I am feeling for the new year 2024:

    Year of the Phoenix.

Year of the no way for

    A quick fix.

    Year of the homeless streets

    You'll Never miss.

    Year of alignment.

    Year of the deep, deep

    Breaths.

    Year of the deep sadness

    Before quick repentance.

    Year of where madness wins.

Year of the poor in Spirit.

    Year of resignation.

Year of the work for the good soil.

Year of the healing from losing

    Feelings you once had.

Year where you stop asking for justice every chance you get.

Year of judgment in the pulpit.

    Year of looking you in

The eyes until I live without lies.

Year of the soak and listen.

Year of siting in the sun.

Year of innocence after the fire.

    Year of that pure desire

Year of the loud false Prophets

    Making profits.

Year of running til it hurts.

    Year of violence.

Year of the hard Pressed kind of faith.

Year of the false fire coming down at

    Your sold out stadium conference.

    Year of the rebellious.

    Year of the soldier.

Year where you might need to disappear

If you wanna make it here.

Year where I forgive my Father

    For punishing me with fear.

Year where I try to stay sober.

    Year where I bow down.

Year of the face the pain in your soul.

    Year of giving up control.

Year where you lose your life.

Year of only speaking what you actually do.

    Year of integrity.

Year where violent men invade your space

And get up in your face.

    Year of the Secret place.

Year of finding some real friends.

Year of crying at the movies.

Year of where you learn to live again.

Episode #172: Fork In The Road/ Sobriety

Episode #172: Fork In The Road/ Sobriety

Episode #172: Sobering news about IHOP-KC. Kansas City was the place where my episodes happened. I have many fond memories and much love for the people at the House Of Prayer. Sad news about Mike Bickle. This is not the focal point of the episode but it is related to my personal struggles with addictions and I talk some about that. Episode #171: 16 Years Later, Lessons, Connection.

    Episode #171.

16 Years later from the diagnosis. I come back to this kind of talk many times. I am influenced by those around me. I did inherit patterns and ideas from my parents. Who I am today is very much because of me. However, where is loneliness coming from? How do we move out of this? In what ways can you move toward connection and community. If you are like me you will say, ' I've heard this before'..I have heard and said it before but my soul is wanting this message. My soul needs this message.
