    TW: Suicide

Myth, lore, legend, and fact have come together to form the story of Kate Morgan, a.k.a, Lottie Bernard.  The young woman tragically died at the Hotel del  Coronado, San Diego, in 1892. Although the case appeared open-and-shut. There have been many questions, many that are still unanswered. Join Jasmin as she examines the untimely death of "the beautiful stranger."

Over the last 120+ years, many guests have claimed to have seen the ghost of the young woman during their stay, particularly if they have stayed in her room. In one way or another, this story is joined with the hotel's history. So if you ever go to the Hotel del, be sure to keep an eye out for a beautiful, ghostly Victorian woman.

    INJUSTICE: Blackwell's Island Asylum

This week Maggie from Feminist History joins Jasmin as they discuss the history and horrors behind Blackwell's Lunatic Asylum.

Built in the early 19th century the asylum was initially only meant to house 250 people. It quickly became overcrowded and lack of funding combined with a host of bad ideas lead to egregious human rights violations.  The stories that made it out of the asylum have served as the inspiration for countless pieces of pop culture over the last century including AHS: Asylum.

    MURDER: Hinterkaifeck Farm

    **TW/CW- abuse, sexual assault

In 1922, a small town just north of Munich, Germany was rocked by the most brutal killings anyone would remember for the next century. Someone had murdered an entire family and then lived with their corpses for days. The town was at a loss and interviewed over 100 potential suspects. Everyone seemed to have their own theory (and new theories continue to be presented to this day) but no one was able to solve it.

Join Jasmin as she studies this case and looks into the most likely suspects.

Who do you think did it?
