EP 43 - Conversation with Genecia Alluora: How to turn your mess into your message and thrive

EP 43 - Conversation with Genecia Alluora: How to turn your mess into your message and thrive

At the age of 16, Genecia experienced horrible incidents of bullying at school. Soon after, she tried to commit suicide. Her mother’s words: “Turn your mess into a message” gave her a wake-up call and she carried those words throughout her life to make choices that empower rather than bring her down. She decided that business is a way to put yourself out into the world, and that leadership is about much more than a way to earn money. It’s a way to develop new skills and get started on a life’s journey. Genecia is a way to make change happen. Today she’s a millionaire, a purpose-driven woman and her principal of the 5 f words are something I really love. EP 41 - Conversation with Matthew Schwab: The inner voyager - how to discover your inner strength to achieve success

How can you find stillness in the chaos? Learning to thrive in chaos is Matthew Schwab’s game, having spent many years as a captain in the merchant marines. He learned through life experiences, many of them challenging, that you need to find stillness in order to find your inner strength.

We create our own stories and interpretations of external events and often get stuck in the same loops, creating the same reality over and over again. The way to change it is to be still, connect with yourself and begin to change your story.

Matthew shares some of the stories that helped him find his inner strength and re-create his reality.  He walked away from a 20 year career and reinvented himself and his life. In this episode, he shares some tips on how to find stillness through breathing, meditation, morning routine and shifting mindset. How to work with your body to find the pause and make a powerful choice in the moment.

EP35 - What do you know for sure?

It’s ok not to know things, because when we ask questions and get answers, we learn, educate ourselves and grow as human beings. Oprah Winfrey began writing the "What I Know For Sure" column in O, The Oprah Magazine. Saying that the question offered her a way to take "stock of her life”. Let us now ask ourselves the question: what do I know for sure?

It allows you to take a deep look into yourself and your life, draw learning and gather insights so that you can keep growing in your potential. Have a listen to this episode so that you can get some ideas about how to ponder this question for yourself.
