Based on Rav Kook's words, we learned of the proper preparation one must embark on, in order to understand, internalize and live in harmony with the times we are living in.
Coming back to Eretz Yisrael was the entry into a deeper layer of Torah observance, which is Torah experience. Our privilege this time around is to access and live all the dreams which 2000 years of Galut naturally minimized and shut off.
