Set2 - Back On Da Scene (radio/clean edit)
IMPACTING RADIO AND CLUBS! Set2’s sound is big.  Over the top but still fighting for his spot, he’s warring for your ear. Unapologetically blunt, he’s a young man with a lot to say and even more ways to say it. Somewhere between a charismatic color commentator, an insightful poet and crowd moving master of ceremonies – there’s Set2 and his microphone. He chomps on beats and rides his own rhythm. He conveys intelligent wittiness powered by his ‘nothing to lose’ attitude. Headstrong yet reflective, he raps like it’s his last - his last minute on the mic, his last second on the stage, his last record on the radio. And it’s been on the back of this fearless authenticity that Set2’s garnered startling acclaim in just a short time. Set2’s big.   J Brown, Words 818   Mobile Treats: Scan this one with your mobile app Myxer: Privacy Policy | Terms - More from Set2 Myxer: Privacy Policy | Terms - More from Set2

    Special Episode- Roirapx

    Special Episode- Roirapx
Upon hearing a couple chunes from roirapx, I hunted him down for this exclusive interview. "R.O.I( rule over impulse) RAP is a name I picked up from one of my favorite emcee's ( kool G Rap) the x in my name is for the extra things I'm bringing to the game, also every great star has a x-factor something about them that we as fans and friends just love. And that's how my name came about.. I wanted my name to have meaning not just some name that I seen in the movies, or name myself after someone who wouldn't even shake my hand if met them..." Legion: Who do most people like to compare you to? Roirapx: LL cool J, 2pac shakur, I've heard Jay-z, a lot of people say I flow and sound like Rakim when I deliver.. I think it just depends on what song they hear. I feel like I've only been compared to the greats so I take it as a compliment.. Legion: Cool I hear that. What should we expect for the restb of 2010 from you, single/mixtape/album wise Roirapx: Expect to see my face. Video's to every single I drop b4 the album which is due at the end of the summer. Video's to every song or freestyles the people hear on the mixtapes I'm dropping B4 the album. Oh yeah we have the documentry that is being released along with the album. And a movie is in the works.. So like I said the people my people can just expect to see my face in a lot of places. A lot of dvd's and websites anything that's really moving promotion wise Monument Records and Roi Rapx will be involved... Look out for my new video that's about to drop next week, called "still gettin mine". As well as my other video's like " Make Room", "Regrets", "World Tour" , and " Straight hustler" The Single? Roirapx: Well it's called " Make Room" which is basically a pre-warning to rappers in the game now a days who are ruining the morals, sound, and the look of a certain creed of artist that came b4 us.. So it's a pre-warning that they better get it togather and I'm coming for they spot. Basically just letting the industry know I'm coming, and I'm coming to sent things straight. We have three singles out right now I work so hard and stick to singles real hits, so we just putting them out letting the people get a feel for this fresh air that's about to breeze into the game. The record is produced by Tripla (pronounced triple-A, who works with hot city music group. A record company under universal). He gave me the beat and said he wanted it to be a gritty hit single. I took it home, wrote to it, and the rest is history, present and the future.. Legion: Nice. Tell the folks What city you rep...And where to find your music Roirapx: Looney Isle is my city ain't a damn thing pretty but the houses. Lol.. I'm from long island I rep the whole long island as a whole but I gotta shout out Port Knox, my peoples from the velt(Roosevelt)Enj & and mook I see you, the stead(hempstead)Kbud what up. I'm originally from queens so I gotta say what up to my Far Rock cats, and family from south side, Goon city, big steez what up baby, Rip shortz, and Get bucks A.K.A ham we almost their.. As for my fans you can find my music on www.myspace.com/ROIRAPX, www.youtube.com/ROIRAPX (or just search the name), www. Excutivesquaddjs.com(search ROI RAPX) sprint radio.com or directly from your sprint phone. And last but not least my people can Google me. I have fifty nine pages on Google about me and dealing with me I'm the only ROI RAPX in the world so when ya'll see the name it's me... And of course on Nox97 Anything that has to do with Nox97 you can find me somewhere near that's my brother in this music game. Legion: Thats Whutsup. Any final warnings for the game? Roirapx: Jaz-o called me at 1:30 and told me the game needs me. Theirs no one in the game like me anymore. The last of a dieing breed. For someone who grew up a fan and listening to Hip Hip , that meant a lot coming from a vet or pioneer of this game. That man knows rap so for him to say that about me as a up and coming artist. Smh. These rap catz better get they money now. Cause Im about to put my foot on the neck of this game. Legion I got to much to rep for. Not only does the game need me Looney Isle (long island) needs me.
