Episode 01 - Trusting God in the Waiting, with Viviane Souza

Episode 01 - Trusting God in the Waiting, with Viviane Souza

A friendly conversation with Viviane Souza about grit, the drive to achieve, losing it all, and learning to trust God in the process.
Viviane is a Senior Global Equity, Diversity & Inclusion Manager at Boeing. She has a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration from American Intercontinental University, and an MBA from Georgia State.

Viviane has over 20 years of experience in the Diversity & Inclusion field and her work experience is as diverse as her interests. Viviane also spent 9 years as an entrepreneur, starting two businesses from scratch. Viviane was born and raised in Brazil, but has lived in the US for over half of her life now. She currently resides and work in Atlanta, GA.

When not at work, you will find Viviane planning her next trip to a place where she can experience a new culture, Latin dancing, or volunteering at church.

Although she credits her drive for creating inclusive environments to having grown up as the oldest sibling in a family of five and as a friend to people who have often been outcasts in society; it is ultimately through growing in her faith that she has developed the grit to continue in this pursuit. She stays focused by each day reminding herself that since every person was born an original, no one should die a copy.
