    Pat’s love for baseball dates back to growing up with Ruly Carpenter, the son of the owner of the Philadelphia Phillies.  Pat played baseball at Wake Forest and two years in the minor leagues in the Phillies organization.   He moved to the front office and was named executive of the year several years.
