    Aussie screenwriter Paddy Macrae was inspired to bring a character with endometriosis to the screen following sister Fi’s diagnosis over five years ago. Drawing on Fi’s experiences, he created Daisy, who appears in Irreverent. Fi was on set to advise on how this debilitating invisible illness was depicted and explain why a hot water bottle is an essential item, even on a 38 degree day.

    After undergoing a recent surgery for her Endo, Angie Kent recounts the story of how she was diagnosed, what has helped her symptom relief, and how she is managing multiple diagnoses in one body including Adenomyosis, PCOS, and Interstitial Cystitis.  In a heart-opening interview, Angie reflects on her struggles as a young person with eating disorders and anxiety, and how ensuring she had a team of medical and allied health professionals around her using trial and error has helped to relieve symptoms and made her feel more in control.
