    Summit League Volleyball

    Summit League Volleyball

This submission is a portion of one of Lehr's first games on color commentary, with Mike Vallencourt as the play-by-play commentator. The game that was covered was an inner conference matchup between the University of Nebraska-Omaha and the University of South Dakota. Prior to this year, Lehr had very limited experience in sports commentary. Within just a month, Lehr was already commentating on Division l sports that were being put on the Summit League Broadcast Network. A nationally broadcasted sports network that includes sports like volleyball, soccer, and hockey. This game between UNO and South Dakota went to a total of four sets, with UNO getting the edge with a 3-1 win. This was also the first time Vaillancourt and Lehr commentated on a sports game of any kind together.

But it was on the most awful day of that awful time, on the day when ruin and disaster came so near that their shadow fell over London far away; and, without any certain news, the hearts of men failed within them and grew faint; as if the agony of the army in the battlefield had entered into their souls.

Something to Note- Signs of Affirmation with Ben Goeser

This podcast explores the tendency of individuals to avoid or alter deemed unfavorable, unflattering, or simply humiliating traits or actions in their written and spoken personal stories. Such choices come from fear and pressure to present oneself in a more perfected state for others to “like” rather than a human state for audiences to relate to and learn from.
