    Men Of Action Podcast

The Men of Action are Graham Self and Andrew Crupi a real life buddy cop movie odd couple. Graham’s the fresh faced recrute whos had very little experience with movies from the“Golden Age of Action” while Crupi’s the grizzled veteran who’s seen it all before and is getting too old for this... well you know the rest. The Men Of Actions mission, should they choose to accept it, is to watch action movies from the “Golden Age of Action” the 80’s and 90’s and discuss whether or not they deserve a place in the “Pantheon Of Action” or should be left to the VHS graveyard of old.

NOTE: Men Of Action fans we will still be releasing new MOA Podcast episodes later in the year. Ep 059 Heat - The MOA Podcast

On this episode of “The Men Of Action Podcast” we have reached the end of Graham's long career of stealing podcast episodes from Crupi. While Graham was assembling a crack team of some of his favorite action movies from the 80’s and 90’s like On Her Majesty's Secret Service, Midnight Run, Akira and Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, Crupi has been hot on his tail waiting to confront him near an airport runway. But before their final confrontation these two legends of podcasting decided to put their differences aside and over a cup of coffee discuss the 1995 action drama Heat. A movie Graham had seen and Crupi had not

Ep 55 - On Her Majesty's Secret Service - The MOA Podcast

Ep 55 - On Her Majesty's Secret Service - The MOA Podcast

The Men of Action are back! Ready for a daring alpine raid on 1969's On Her Majesty's Secret Service. Ernst Stavro Blofeld's evil plot to spread a virus around the world may have caused a delay between episodes, but this pair of swaggering Australians have bluffed their way into the role of a lifetime: reviewing George Lazenby's singular outing as James Bond, 007.

This is a movie Graham had seen and Crupi had not. 'This never happened to the other fella!' says Crupi, quite erroneously.

Ep 054 Virtuosity - The MOA Podcast

Chapter 54: on this episode... 1995's Virtuosity... we shut the gates(!) because we've programmed all of the world's podcasters into a single AI. But we had to ask ourselves, did this film really deserve a spot in the Pantheon of Action? From Andrew Crupi and Graham Self it's "The Men of Action Podcast", one genre told bi-monthly or occasionally only once a month.

Stay sexy and don't get murdered by Russell Crowe... or frankly Denzel Washington who is a loose cannon in this movie which Crupi had seen but Graham only learned about during a heavy-handed flashback.

Christmas Episode 3 Jingle All The Way

Christmas Episode 3 Jingle All The Way

Twas the night before Christmas, on this action 'cast,
just one movie remaining. For twenty-twenty, its last!
We'd seen weapons so lethal and John McClane too,
what possible Xmas was left to review?
'Shane Black!' you all cried 'for he's done so many,'
but we thought and thought and could not choose any!
Suddenly at once the "Men of Action" did say,
'That Schwarzenegger romp, Jingle All the Way'

Crupi had watched it, or at least seen a bit,
while Graham has usual hadn't seen sh*t.

Now enjoy this podcast, and this off-the-cuff rhyme
"Happy Christmas to all, and to all it's turbo time!"
