    Today we have a very controversial movie we're tackling. Will is a big fan of Gaspar Noe and so we decided to revisit this notorious film. For those who don't know, Irreversible stars Vincent Cassel and Monica Bellucci and features some very graphic scenes. It is also a film that happens in reverse time. This 1944 comedy/crime drama is set almost entirely in one location and is Mike's first time watching it. It's full of twists and turns, surprises, and some genuinely amazing dialogue.     In this episode, we discuss the 2005 film starring Daddy of all Daddy's Russell Crowe. This is a great depression era boxing movie that reminded us a bit of Rocky and other sports movies where someone rises above adversary. But did we love it? You'll have to tune in to find out!

    We're trying something a bit different this week and exploring something from Mike's childhood. This 1973 comedy is from the former Soviet Union and was a very popular and influential comedy. It's a story about about a scientist who creates a time machine and accidentally sends his neighbor and a thief back in time to the period of Ivan the Terrible, while the King comes to present day Moscow. Hilarity ensues. For fans of physical humor, campy, and general silliness, this one will hit all the right spots. Check out this episode and laugh along with us.

    This week we explore the awesome Italian film Suburra. You may have heard the name, as there are several spin-off shows on Netflix with this name that all have to do with the Italian underworld. You've got it all here; corrupt politicians, gangsters, drug addicts, prostitutes, death, murder, revenge. It's a beautiful film with a great soundtrack by M83. This is one not to be missed.

    Hell yeah, it's time for another Rob Zombie film. Ever since Daddy say House of 1000 Corpses he's been obsessed with seeing the sequel and follow up, The Devil's Rejects. Today, we finally got around to seeing it. This 2005 film is a brutal, redneck, road movie full of violence, comedy, vengeance. It's a fun time for sure. Come check this review out as we dive into the twisted mind of Rob Zombie.

    We all know Oliver Stone is a an excellent filmmaker. When we think of him, I imagine most people think of Platoon, Born on the 4th of July, JFK, etc. But Salvador seems to be a bit of an under appreciated film from his filmography. This week, Hawg and Daddy, check out this 1986 War Drama. A good time will be had by all!

    After months of trying to convince Daddy to watch the 2018 film Upgrade, Hawg finally convinced him to give it a go. Join us as we explore this low budget sci-fi cyberpunk movie from Leigh Whannell of Saw fame and see what we thought of it. Did we love it, hate it, or something in-between?     Today's episode dives into the neo-noir world of Michael Mann, in his directorial debut Thief. Released in 1981, it began a very successful career for the director. Starring James Cann, James Belushi, Tuesday Weld, it was Mike's pick and to this day is one of the slickest, coolest films ever with an unforgettable score from Tangerine Dream.
