Natural and Wild with Christine Greyson

I saw the elusive, endangered Giant Gray Bat this week, and he was beautiful. Just some wistful thoughts on spirit animal Bat Medicine today, and a little story for you. 

Opening with a curse from the infamous Marie Laveau, I'll dive into some facts about some of nature's poison with those pretty little poison dart frogs and fire ants. I threw the curse story in, because I thought of it as I was talking about fire ants. Down in New Orleans, there is a lot of hoodoo  witchery that involves the use of fire ant mounds while casting hexes. 
So grab a drink, preferably not a toxic one... maybe a daiquiri?  and enjoy the show! :) 

Strange, epiphany inspired ramblings drenched in hints of the Law of Attraction and the like. Logic, Realism and Science have their place, and they are needed and respected. But Intuitive, abstract thinking and imagination also holds a great power; that of the Divine. And together, they keep us moving forward. I've always had some sort of morbid affection for all things dark, mysterious and strange. These mystical creatures have represented the dark side of nature for centuries... with grace and beauty. A romanticized sort of darkness. Something to ponder on a Friday morning... 

Physically striking, musically talented and brazen, the Cardinal is a bird of high esteem in the wilderness. Follow its lead as it guides the way to inherent greatness! 

Our brains; powerful, highly evolved cosmic computers, sending electricity through our entire bodies and sending our vibrations into a spin! We can attract anything we want. And we can do it through our intuition, which is involved in an eternal affair with science. 

We constantly borrow ideas from the designers of the wild; insects and animals alike. They're fascinating- from bees to beavers, these creatures put as much care into their craft as we do. Just musing a little bit on the architecture and the designs of the natural world this morning.. it always gives me a little inspiration for my own projects, like building planters on the sides of trees and houses and barns.. akin to little hives. Or food storage below the water.. the way the beavers do it. Come have a listen, and maybe get some spring project ideas!

I know what kind of head I'm more likely to follow...

I'm also exploring some possible reasons which may have contributed to our ex administration's failing.  And throwing in some chimpanzees to boot. 

There comes a time when periodically, we take a look at our own egos, break down just a little, and overcome those inner offences that hold us back. In this moment, I believe transparency, although terrifying, is insurance against idleness. Against that tendency to take one quick look at ego and then turn away, changing my mind about working on it. 
Hence, Natural & Wild, a podcast all about those natural instincts and wild natures, will explore another natural transformation- my tendency to be a jerk. It's time to shed my snake skin again and get over that one.. hopefully, for good this time. The best way to change the world is to live as an example of the kind of world you want to see. So let's see if I can do this. 

Dreams.. those subconscious compilations of oddity in our heads while we sleep.. are telling us to do something. What are yours telling you? And what are these golden eggs I speak of?
