She KEPT HER VALUES in spite of her SISTERS CRITICISM

Our attitude should be one of HUMBLE SERVANTHOOD toward our CHURCH family.

Our attitude should be one of GRACIOUS ACCEPTANCE toward other BELIEVERS.

Our attitude should be one of PATIENT TOLERANCE toward HOSTILE believers.

Our attitude should be one of DECISIVE ALLEGIANCE toward the LORD.

  CHOSEN people don't get that caught up in CHOOSING sides.

I chose you on PURPOSE and I chose you for a PURPOSE..

Jesus doesn't accept APPLICATIONS. He offers INVITATIONS.

Being CHOSEN Should give us UNITY amongst each other.

Being CHOSEN means you should't be OFFENDED.

Hook: How can Jesus HEAL a POLARIZED SECULAR SOCIETY like our?

1. Be a PEACEMAKER, not a PEACEKEEPER.

3. Meet NEEDS, not CONDEMN FAILURES.

Main Idea:
      Jesus Style HOSPITALITY can HEAL a BROKEN world.

Challenge:
      Empower your TABLE with the GOSPEL to bring others to the BANQUET of the KING.

-Christian HOPE is not a WISH

-HOPE for the Christian means a "CONFIDENT EXPECTATION."

-Most of the time, DESTINED doessn't feel like a DESTINY.

-You are DESTINED to use your PAIN for God's purpose.

What do you do when the blessings of God 

distracts you from the will of God?

Genesis 39:2-6

1. Blessings can become distractions and we can miss the bigger thing that God has for us.  

When the blessings feel spiritual.  

Genesis 39:3

When the blessing feed our ego.

When it fuels our disbelief.  

Verse 11 says, 

“In your plenty, don’t forget the LORD your God.”  

Verse 14, 

“Don’t become proud and forget the LORD.”  

Verse 15, 

“Don’t forget that he led you through the wilderness.”  

Verse 18, 

“Remember the LORD your God.” 

2. The blessings won’t distract you if you “remember” God.

3. When people remember how God was faithful to them in the past, they are faithful to God in the present.  When they forget how God was faithful in the past, they are unfaithful to him in the present.
