    Mona Yim is a Chinese-German Producer, DJ, Songwriter and Vocalist. Her music tells stories layered within analogue drum beats, chopped vocal melodies, emotive synth, and bass-laiden beats. Having introduced her electronic persona to the world just over a year ago, she is already behind remixes of DJ Seinfeld, Glass Animals and Model Man, performing in festivals and venues all over the world.

    Musician Chisara Agor is a self-declared ‘art making philosopher’. Chisara sheds light on their journey into performance art, the desire to make audiences self-reflect/reimagine ways of perceiving reality with their music, and their defiant conviction against limiting beliefs.

    Ever-shifting environments, constantly (r)evolving juxtapositions of experience, are recurring themes in much of Chisara Agor’s art. Agor is a powerhouse, creating works that span the music, theatre, film and art worlds, shifting between a seamless melting-pot of sounds, self-expressions and story-telling. The Roundhouse, Snape Maltings, and BBC Maida Vale are just a few of the venues Chisara has graced, as well as being played on BBC Radio London, BBC Radio 6, Worldwide Fm, and Soho Radio.

    Musicians Ben Ramsden & Joy Nkoyo who met studying composition at Trinity Laban Conservatoire discuss the music conservatory system, as depicted in films such as ‘Whiplash’ and ‘Tár’,  instrumental music as a form of storytelling, the future of Classical music, as well as Ben’s personal journey with composing as a form of catharsis.  

    Ben Ramsden is an award-winning Yorkshire born composer. Being equally interested in classical and other popular styles of music, he’s developed a unique sound world, writing pieces that sit at a crossroads between genres. His large-scale String Orchestra & Electronics piece ‘To Care’ was premiered at The Southbank Centre in 2019. Now reimagined for String Quartet Korda, the second premiere at Peckham Levels was featured on BBC News London.
