Amortization is one of the most important ways you can make money in real estate. Paying down debt is a super powerful wealth generator. If you don't understand amortization and compounding interest you need to watch this episode of the old fashioned real estate show. Amortization tables can be done in excel but you can also google mortgage calculators and download a free one. All you need to know is the starting balance, the interest rate and the term and you can see how much you pay off each year.
