OWCS Radio Feature from 2009 .  Interviews with the Global Exchange Project This brought young volunteers from Bahrain and around the Uk to Brighton and Hove . They lived with local people and volunteered here. They then went to Bahrain in the Persian Gulf. Global Xchange is a joint project with Voluntary Service Overseas and The British Council. One aim is to help young people from different countries to learn from each other about both of their cultures. An interview with Rhiannon Johns - Active for Life Manager for Brighton & Hove City Council - On the Takepart Festival and other Active for Live events and activities The Takepart International Festival of Sport - 19 June to 4 July in Brighton and Hove was run by a partnership between the council, schools, sports clubs and other organisations. It included many big and small events and opportunities to try out different sports and physical activities for free. Give Get Gain Youth Volunteering Project in Brighton Five school students from Portslade in the West of Brighton and Hove tell us about commuity volunteering they are doing in the local community and what they are getting from this. These young people are helping to run a youth club, taking part in a neighbourhood youth forum and local action group, supporting other young people with illnesses and raising money for charity. Nicola Jay's Charity Club night Nicola Jay, from Brighton tells us about the Club night she has organised in aid of the Joshua Foundation. This is a charity helping terminally ill children. The night is at Ink on Meeting House Lane in the Brighton Lanes at 8pm Saturday 14 March 2010 (sorry if this information is now out of date). Nicola, born and bred in Brighton, is a finalist in the Miss Universe (GB) pageant. This will be held in Birmingham in May.

Mixed Blessings are an inclusive and all ages theatre group in Brighton (UK). They meet in Kemptown and put on plays and other shows at festivals and generally around Brighton and Hove. The plays they put on are generally about social and cultural issues. Membership is open to all and the podcast includes details of where they meet and how to join.
