    OneWay Apologetics

Answering hard questions with scripture and reason. "Unless I am convicted [convinced] of error by the testimony of Scripture or (since I put no trust in the unsupported authority of Pope or councils, since it is plain that they have often erred and often contradicted themselves) by manifest reasoning, I stand convicted [convinced] by the Scriptures to which I have appealed, and my conscience is taken captive by God's word, I cannot and will not recant anything, for to act against our conscience is neither safe for us, nor open to us." - Martin Luther www.1wayapologetics.com

Episode 6 How Free is God?

Episode 6 How Free is God?
This is such a difficult topic I could not unpack it into 3 episodes. In this episode I explain the three main theological positions in light of the Historical data I outlined in Part 1. I then give you my response to two main verses given by Arminians against the reformed position on God's will. Hopefully you find something interesting in my thoughts. The next episode will be on Man's will and touch on the philosophical aspects of argumentation in light of scripture. God Bless you all!

Episode 5 - How Free is Free?

Episode 5 - How Free is Free?
In this episode I lay out the historical and Philosophic origins of freewill. I also provide the two major objections to measure them against scripture in Part 2. I will enlist fellow friends in Christ to discuss the issues scripturally and reasonably in one of the following two parts on this topic. God bless you all and your study of his word.

Episode 4 - Is Perfect enough?

Episode 4 - Is Perfect enough?
There are a couple of corrections and clarifications I needed to make since last podcast. I wanted to add some more arguments against sinless perfection and in favor of Christ's arguments to Love. I also wanted to point you in section 2 to a great teaching on this issue by John MacArthur. The next podcast will be on Freewill and God's sovereignty. Following that episode I would like to do more critiques of anti-theist arguments. May God richly bless you and yours. I misquoted Paul here in the beginning I meant to say Romans 6:1 not Romans 4:3....I am not Perfect ....

Episode 3 - How Perfect is Perfect?

Episode 3 - How Perfect is Perfect?
In this episode Sparks Remieres and I discuss a growing trend of one of two extremes legalism and lawlessness. To be more succinct we go through some of the arguments and dangers of what has been called Sinless Perfectionism. Sinless Perfectionism is the theological position that after Christ saves us we gain the ability to keep the entire old testament law.

    OneWay Apologetics - Questioning Calvinism

    OneWay Apologetics - Questioning Calvinism
I had an interesting exchange over at Google Hangouts. The exchange was interesting until the issue of calvinism came up. I am amazed at at how often arminians attack calvinists without ever letting the doctrines be explained. We were arguing about the doctrine of irresistable grace and out of it came a youtube video. In this show I work through the video revealing how often people attack what they do not know. Hope you enjoy!
