The Panthers season has been over for quite a while, and we're still processing the failure of the playoffs that ended too soon. Still there's no answer on the status of interim coach Andrew Brunette, though two of his assistants have been let go by Panthers GM Bill Zito. The lack of clarity at this stage is a surprise. David Dwork of WPLG Local 10 and Chirping the Cats joins us to break it all down.

It wasn't easy, but the Florida Panthers got it done. Again. Alex & TJ discuss a 5-3 comeback win against Washington in game 5 puts the Panthers on the brink of advancing to round 2 of the playoffs for the first time since 1996.

The vibes are immaculate.

Alex & TJ are joined by WPLG Local 10's Ian Margol to recap a roller coaster of emotion in what was easily Florida's most intense playoff game yet. Carter Verhaeghe proved to be the hero, scoring in the 1st period and the last period.

The Panthers didn't come back but in every other way they turned game 2 on its head by blitzkrieging the Washington Capitals in the second half of game 2, riding their luck to go up 3-1 and eventually punching through twice more in a dominant 2nd and 3rd period to win 5-1.
