They may have missed the Belgian episode, but the Pitpass team is back in full swing. In fact it's a suggesting they think might help liven up Formula One, much in-keeping with the current trend of needless tinkering. It's the longest episode yet, but there is a lot of ground to cover from conspiracy theories to paved run offs, not to mention a race and a half worth of action to get through.

Tired of leaving the rants to Glen 'Crompo' Crompton, Mat Coch (who allegedly joined the show from a telephone box somewhere) expresses his concerns over the standard of marshalling in Hockenheim, a view shared by Editor Chris Balfe who branded the handling of Adrian Sutil's stricken Sauber as disgraceful. Crompo is more forgiving and instead is left wistfully reminiscing about Jean Alesi's helmet before pointing out the flaws in Bernie Ecclestone's business model.

It's taken until almost the midway point of the season, but finally Glen 'Crompo' Crompton has given us his first real crack-pot conspiracy theory of the year. And it came about almost by accident. Crompo is once again in the Pitpass studio with editor Chris Balfe and fellow antipodean Mat Coch to discuss the British Grand Prix as the team stray in to oncoming traffic in the form of Formula Kart Star, the new FOM backed karting series. But its very existence has the guys all agreeing that it is a confusing move for a brand which has been so aggressive in protecting its exclusivity, leading to the inevitable cynicism.

Chris Balfe, Glen Crompton and Mat Coch have headed back in to the Pitpass studio to record the post-Austrian Grand Prix episode in which, as usual, they spend little time actually talking about the race. Indeed, feeding off one another, Balfe and Crompo come up with some exciting new job descriptions for Tabloid Newspaper Editors after drawing inspiration from the World Cup and motivation from the track limits debacle in qualifying.

Running a little longer this week the trio of Balfe, Crompo and Coch review the Canadian Grand Prix and take a closer look at the stories behind the headlines. They're unimpressed with proposed changes to Friday practice while suggesting Daniel Ricciardo's maiden victory is the most positive thing to have happened to Formula One in some time. Crompo also sees comparisons between Nico Rosberg and Alain Prost while disagreeing with Coch about the incident between Sergio Perez and Felipe Massa. Coch, Crompo assures us, is wrong as usual.

Following a processional race that had little to talk about the Pitpass team had to be forcedly removed from the studio this week as they dissected all the latest happenings in Formula One. Editor Chris Balfe is back to share his thoughts on the situation at Mercedes while Glen Crompton and Mat Coch continue to argue amongst themselves. Running slightly longer this time at almost twenty minutes the trio once again pass their differing opinions over the sport and debate it out amongst themselves. With Coch being wrong about pretty much all of it.

Nothing fires the Pitpass team up like a dull race, making this episode jam packed with outrage, rants and laughs. Chris Balfe, Glen Crompton and Mat Coch return for another post-race podcast in which they manage to avoid talking about the race much at all and instead focus on the important things, like a possible job opportunity for Chris at Red Bull and whether Bernie's staff consists solely lawyers. Indeed lawyers get a fair grilling from the team, mostly by Crompo. There are trademarks and lawsuits and regulations, indeed Editor Balfe suggests there are so many lawyers involved in the sport-which-cannot-be-named that they deserve their own garage... Marco Mattiaci, the new boss at Ferrari, may be in his first week with the team but despite the sun glasses does not manage the escape the eagle eyed Balfe who predicts dire times ahead for the Italian marque. But at least the show finishes on schedule, unlike the Chinese Grand Prix. You didn't think we'd let that one go, did you?

The guys are back after a healthy serve of humble pie following the Bahrain Grand Prix. Hot on the heels of the Malaysian podcast, where the trio of Chris Balfe, Glen Crompton and Mat Coch lamented everything that was wrong with the sport they had to admit they all enjoyed the race in Bahrain. It was the best race he's ever seen, claimed Crompo, especially the bit where both Mercedes drivers had radio problems, in what he described as an action packed race that left those with a weak bladder with a difficult decision.

The challenge has been made; the Pitpass team want to hear what YOU think about Formula One in 2014. Chris Balfe and Crompo are once again in the studio with Mat Coch pouring over the Malaysian Grand Prix weekend as Crompo has an epiphany, hijacking the show entirely. Briefly the trio stick to the plan, which was to discuss the Malaysian Grand Prix, but are soon busy pulling Formula One apart piece by piece as they decide what is and isn't working. But it doesn't stop there; the team wants to hear from you! Download the podcast, hear what the team think and then share your opinion.
